Thx a lot for this tutorial, u really help me. my english is so so, but its ok ;) i'll make a donation when i'll have money, i promise.....thx a lot again....best regards...
I am having a problem though. I'm working in Logic 9 and I followed this tutorial to this point and when I drag Env 2 into the Filter 1 and apply the cutoff, I can hear my bass note and then I hear a later fade in in the background instead of just a fade into the bass note.
Your bass just fades in without any other noise. I'm wondering what I could possibly be doing wrong. Any help?!
I'm so pissed right now lol. Your tutorials are very good, but when you did that work in envelope 2, my bass wasn't punchy, it was very light. After like 2 hours of working this bass, it sounds bad, arghhhh lol.
@junez85 I can't figure this out either! I'm using FL and when you create a pattern in the piano roll the LFO only works when the sync is off. Any ideas???? It's making it very hard to match the tempos therefore impossible to make it sound halfway decent.
I know exactly how to do it in sytrus... BUT sytrus is hard to get a half decent bassline... The only thing i can think of with massive - is have different VST's set up with the same bass and change the wobble to suit... but this could mean opening up alot of massives!!! must be an easier way but thats all i got at the mo! Hope you got a fast computer!
Would there be any reason why my ADR envelope doesn't have white lines on the shape of the attack and decay graph-like area. Also when I drag 2 Env. to Filter cutoff 1 the circle around the knob turns white and not blue like yours. It also doesn't really have the same effects as yours does.

I think the problem people are having, which I also had in the last video when you first activated on the LFO, with not hearing anything is because you have to turn up the amount of LFO acting on (for example) the cutoff . You do this by clicking and draggin on the green number in the mod box below the control you have applied it to.
these have been awesome. but when i go to the envelope, or the LFO, it doesn't have a white outline, and it doesnt seem to change anything when i mess with it. any ideas?
hey! thanks for this extensive tutorial.. Is there a reason why you keep the synth oscillators at the higher octaves and play in the lower notes? Is there a difference or is it just preference? thanks again!
I prefer to use the MIDI notes in the right octaves for the pitch they play, there's no difference technically, I just prefer to keep the note registers correct.
Im working in cubase, I'm having trouble getting the LFO sync rate to actually do anything. It works when sync is off and I change the rate, but when the sync is on and I change the ratio nothing happens. Any help would be great, your videos are awesome.
I dont know how cubase works but im pretty sure you have to Map the LFO rate to a your computer keyboard or midi keyboard. Same problem i was having with ableton, but search up some vids on cubase mapping that should help you out

POS button was added in a later update. You should update your Massive version to 1.3.

Do you have cubase playing int he background? I think sync won't run unlessthe transport is active as it's used for the syncs timing

go to global tab, click external sync box, then go to oscilator and sync it, should work
