  • why lesson..

  • oh dear.......

  • Not a bad effort, but don't forget the turnaround!!

  • nice job man

  • hey i enjoyed thanksss

  • Thanks for thinking of beginners with your lessons. As a rank beginner, 2 weeks, just starting out, you're making it easy for us to play songs we like, without all the complicated fingering etc. Keep on posting!

  • Nice voice.

  • Can you do,All night,Damian Marley pretty please....love all your vids,thank you x

  • what the huhhh : o

  • michael??? where's walt?

  • hi but you are the actor of the film the music in the heart????

  • yamaha apx 500?

  • @Funiery apx something.

  • Hey youre great! great voice

  • I can't quite figure out what you're doing with your left hand whilst playing the example at the start. Youre holding the chords, sort of, but you're moving. Is that some sort of technique? Your playing sounds way better than my own, and I figured it may have something to do with my guitar ringing. Thanks a lot for the lesson/tutorial! I'm working on your 'the first cut is the deepest' right now! Cheers!

  • He's just pressing the strings up and down, letting off the pressure and reapplying it. It gives a nice sound.

  • I used to have that same guitar. Keep it up.

  • Great song

    originally done by Bo Diddley

  • funny singing..but cool :D

  • preety good, glad to see people in to clapton

  • to all the white morons out there...that do not know blues was invented by the black man and it evolved through him as well.....clapton was a fan of muddy waters and learnt most of what he plays through listening to him....hows that!

  • and then they spoiled it with RAP..... haha just kidding Robert Johnson is the MAN!

  • hey, brother, I look white but I'm not. I was raised white.

  • ur absolutely right, but it seems like after hendrix died they all but abandoned it, buddy guy, bb king, robert cray aside, blues have become more of a white genre now, which is a shame, because as you said, it was started as a mainly black musical genre. Really wish more young african americans would expose themselves back to real music and less of the rap culture as a whole. Glad to see FourThreeStudios has not lost his appreciation for it.

  • man you are one of those guys that are just lying garbage in our society

  • People on YouTube are idiots...rock on little brother. It's great to see a younger black man into the blues guitar.

  • Einfach Klasse - Danke!

  • everyone who posts these useless racist comments is a terrible person im sorry. this person has posted a video helping people play basic guitar, who cares what color he is. open your eyes morons

  • fuck those haters, i found this useful....thanks

  • you stupid racist! good work, i forgot how to do the strumming xD

  • oh my god ... i hate all these racist people, just go fuk off ...

good job man .. really appreciate it

  • Is that a Yamaha APX?

  • for you to completely ignore the logic of what I just said and post a reply like that displays a level of ineptitude that borders on the imbecilic so i'm going to say this very slowly lest you not understand....go and read a book and find something worthwhile to do with your time and, by extension, your life you worthless little shit.

  • man are there some assholes here or what. I think that everyone was at this point at some time in their guitar playing career, and i KNOW that we all need some sort of guidance to make it to the next level (whether that's listening to CDs, online lessons, books). So don't knock the fact that this guy is trying to help the beginners out there.

  • please learn to play the blues before you try to teach them

  • Execelent Good job on those vocals too,I love this song when I was a kid I stayed at My Grannys and found My Uncles Bo Diddley albums and listened to this song all the time Heck Yeah Keep on jammin'

  • Would you please take off the word "lesson", please? Because wasting people´s time. And screwing with Clapton´s music.

  • sei uno dei pochi neri che non hanno la voce blues vergognati. frocio. sei peggio di zucchero.

  • hai la mia chitarra sei avvisato fourthreestudios. ridammela stronzo. eric clapton is the shit

  • That aint a good way to play E7 chord... And tune your guitar.

  • I think Crabman's videos are great... I'm an absolute beginner - still learning chords. As I learn, I can watch this and apply. It's a slow process when you're starting out and his stuff is very helpful. Thank you dude. Keep putting beginner stuff out here for us. Know that not everyone learns the same way, just as I'm finding out that different people play the same stuff different ways. It all helps.

  • I don't understand how can this video be called "lesson". Anyone who can play chords, don't need this "lesson". Anyone who cannot play chords, must learn them before to play a song.

  • these ppl are as-holes... im a little past this point myself, but thnx for taking the time out of your day to help some other ppl along ... i teach ppl the simplest songs, to keep them interested in playing. "Theory" and structure and boring practice make ppl not want to keep up with it.. if you can play an actual song, it helps. Keep up the good work my dude, and again dont let the idiots deter you from helping others come along with their playing!

  • these chords are for kids 10 years old..this is what you call a lesson.. you gotta be kidding..play something else please not Clapton because he's great

  • No one can grab his guitar and start with original Clapton. Well, maybe you could(?). For people who have already started and they don't want to play boring exercises from books over and over again, this simplified version can be pretty good fun. So thanks and cheers to the poster for his work, I think many starting guitarist appreciate this...

  • you are starting guitarist?? oo sorry but for me this is a joke..because for this guy here that plays Clapton, im about to teach him Clapton lessons.

  • I'm actually not, but I remember my start very well and I've sent this one to my cousin who's starting right now and he's really liked that. He can do just few chords but he likes blues. He works so hard, does exercises a couple of hours every day, but as a guy who wants to teach some 'real' Clapton, you surely know that it takes some time before you are able to play classics like BYAM in an original version.

  • well..if your cousin works hard he will be better then anyone.but not learning from this guy.:S..im 20 now..when i was 6 i started classical guitar school. So i now what is good for children.music needs dicipline.:D..

  • Maybe you think this is just for kids ten years old... I think that only ten years old kid could blame someone, who's willing to provide some useful stuff for starting guitarists!

  • Total shite, you wouldnt even get away with busking. What an insult to the great Mr. J.

  • dudes, this isn't a cover!!! this is a lesson for eager begginer guitar learners so they can have something to play, something they think is cool. i think it's cool,

  • its alright, actually, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!

  • That was crap. Nice work.

  • are you taking the piss ...sounds nothing like it ....

  • no need to get nasty guys, but does someone have a puke bucket?

  • you are a barely sufficient guitar player to strummy on youtube, you can't do lessons.

  • fajnie

  • hey man very good and easy to learn... i like that guitar could you tell me what kind of guitar is that? greetings from VENEZUELA

  • is it a joke man??? if it doesn't whaouuu you should work a bit more guitar and singing and talking less

  • its actually a bo diddley song

  • şekil yerinde ama gitar çalman tırt koçum!

  • I think you need a lesson for that

  • wow that's bad

  • Nice lesson!

    :)

  • I called Yo Mama

    A nasty, nappy-headed ho

    I called Yo Mama

    A nasty, nappy-headed ho

And Yo Mama said to me

Don't you call me that no mo

    Just kidding, mon! ;p

    Nice lesson.

  • why can't all guitar lessons be as entertaining as this?

  • ha youre funny man. nice expressions

  • hey, thanks it helped me, you are so sexy

  • good

  • Well done. Thanks for taking a simple song and keeping it simple.

  • Hello! Thank you very much for the Lesson. The Way you Show it any one can learn even me.I have a Guitar but don`t know how to play jet . I just know how to sing so this realy Helps me. thank you again and have a great Weekend and take care.Sincerely michaelgavin1 and Ursula

  • SOLO?

  • Sounds pretty good man, even without the finger picking!

  • Beautiful Guitar, what type is it. (Sorry if youve answered this before.)

  • Hi Noyo......its a Yamaha APX-4A

  • thank you so much!!! i've been looking for a way to play this for weeks! you helped a ton!

  • great thanks like the bajan accent reminds me of my visits john moore bar greatttt

  • hey sexy you, i´m waiting for your next vid. thanks now i can play some songs, my biggest problem was the strumming thing...

  • True, i never actually thought of that, my mistake.

  • Thing is though mate before you accuse me is a shuffle not chords, and its fingerpicked

  • Thanks for your observation jj. However my intention is to give beginners an easy option that they can grasp quickly while playing along with Eric's CD. Fingerpicking and the shuffle rhythm is slightly more advanced than this lesson.
