I don't know why people think that the Natina (rapping in this vid) is Left Eye's cousin because they are not related nor is Left Eye related to the other 2 members either. Natina & Left Eye were very close though. I liked this song but I loved the 808 remix version! Oh and I like the second single, Bring it all to me. I wished they would have kept the original version from album where they had JC Chasez from NSync singing lead vocals with Shamari, the girl singing lead in this vid.

I learned to like this song only because my little sister played the crap out of the CD! LOL! A lot of people think that they were trying to be like TLC but maybe because Left Eye (RIP) was managing them? BLAQUE was founded by Left Eye, so they were inevitably similar to TLC. And although Natina's rap style was identical to Left Eye, Shamari and Brandi sounded nothing like T-boz and Chilli. Like for instance how T-boz has her own unique sound going on. But Shamari and Brandi have soulfull voices. They can sing really good...And I actually remember hearing an interview where Left Eye said this herself.

I agree. BLAQUE's sound was way more soulfull than TLC...People just didn't really take them seriously because everyone thought they were trying to be TLC when they weren't. Their debut album is a mixture of soul and pop. TLC were more Hip Hop/ pop oriented...BUT I definitely believe that BLAQUE are underrated. They are very talented.
