What you got there is a PI machine with little or no discrimination designed for nugget hunting totally inappropriate FOR UK, I would not want him on one of my pasture sites, wonderful pinpointing, nice neat holes , good machines for meteorites.
Just my 2 cents worth. I got a gpx 5000 for the beach in Chicago and my first outing with it I dug a nickle at 16 to 18". No gold yet but If I use uit it will come! I plan on testing this machine while in the UK in March.
Awesome depth & capability of the Minelab GPX - 5000...I am also a Minelab owner & swear by them.....In the post below...Michael uses a Fisher and really likes it,bless him...He really should give Minelab a chance...Yes I have watched NuggetNoggins videos,& even if the 5000 could pinpoint it & ID it as a pulltab at 36"...The boy will dig that pulltab at 36"...LOL...No offence Michael...

If you aren't willing to dig those deep signals regardless whether it says pulltab or no chances are you're missing a lot of good targets.
