You say kurds are over 20 million??? At first this number is BY FAR overdone. The second thing is that kurds and Turks are not at all seperated down there as you would like to think.

Yeah, we got some social troubles but how many states in the world have not? Turkey is MUCH bigger than cute Greece ( not to mention the Turkish NATION, which includes also the Turk-States) so is the liklihood for tension in a given part of an area. ( you ever heard of sociology? ) Don't try to compare Greece with Turkey, this would like to compare grapes with apples.

Look at the islamic world today with all its problems, which has historical reasons like the fucking crusades. Which other state can you compare with Turkey, its founding and constitution? Then you can easily see that the Turkish Republic plays a special role in it.

Culture in Asia, science,art or literature doesn´t matter, was greater. Turks spread out all over Asia, whether in ancient China, near East
including Persia and Messapotamia and even India ; influenced great asian culture, but is not such popular like the ancient greeks because it was particulary asian and not european.

ancient greek culture is so popular because EUROPE identifys itself with it the cradle of europe if you will. And because western european states spread and increases their influence all over the world during the colonization also the ancient greek culture got popular because it was seen as authentic european. rates,Phidias etc..These persons shaped the ancient world and gave light and knowledge all over the globe.

Your music, life style, couisine, language, your whole culture today is influenced by the turks! And you talk about mathematics. The islamic world in the past, espescially the area around bagdad, mesapotamia and parts of persia in the ninth and tenth century was world-famous. Turkish dynastys ruled and co-ruled there and the scientists who lived there were probably the best in the world at that time.art and literature?
