@owlen88 We are Zerg players, and really Protoss and Terran are easier than Zerg because of the maps, look at steppes of war, REALLY short rush distance and the expo is really far from the main. Few maps favor Zerg, besides like I said MOST people watching this are Zerg.

@DevilBlaster a cheese is a move, that if you fail at killing off or vastly delaying your opponent, your screwed.

if i got 1 overseer out and kill your DT's your fucked. if i got hydras out against your VR's your fucked. so both are cheese. 4 gate isn't a cheese because you can stil trancision out of it fairly easely. but a 2 gate will put you waay behind both economically and in terms of army size. thats why a 2 gate is the weakest cheese of all and only work on new players..

a 2 gate can work quite nicely if u ask me. when someone sees a 2gate he makes spines right? so just tech further to stalkers or somthing like that. a 2gate is a 2gate. u dont have to make units. if ur moves can be predicted just change strategy.

@mastermixsable You really know little about this game to think that a bronze player would have any chance against a remotely competent diamond or even plat player. HD and Husky are not pro players for a reason, they are no where close to that level and is reflected in their casting. There have been many occasions where they didn't know what the players were doing.

Other "mainstream" casters as well, are lacking the same knowledge as a pro player aside from Artosis, Incontrol, and Day9

I love this build. Really strong against the heavy Gateway pushes in this map. If you're in Protoss' shoes and you already have that Twilight Council it's probably smart to go charge rather than blink and aim for a much more Zealot heavy army. That's the best way to deal with Hydras when you only have Gateway units at your disposal in my opinion. And than defend and stall until you have the HTs.

If HD had done this commentary there's a strong possibility that he'd be picking at Idra's build and saying things counter to its brilliance. He'd also have focused on Huk more wanting to give a balanced cast of the game.

I like that they're providing something that HD and Husky don't.

Idra cannot commentate on Huk's strategy to the level that he can speak on his own. HD, in no way, can even begin to comprehend the timing and rationale for this build. If you actually watch HD's cast from an analytical perspective, his analysis skills is no where up to par to this VOD.

At the very least, HD has taken this criticism and has practiced more.

I can't believe how you think HDsc or Husky can bring the same knowledge to the game compared to a zerg expert like IdrA. I realize that if you're a lowlevel player yourself it seems HD & Husky are experts. Once your knowledge and experience grows though, you'll realize they make many mistakes and misjudge situations.. you realize this already if you compare to Day[9], 'Tasteosis'. I love this, IdrA is my favorite zerg player and he gives great advice :), btw he used this spine crawler rush to crush his protoss opponent in ro64 of GSL season 3, definitely an effective build if you're unfortunate enough to get steppes of war on the ladder

I've come to the conclusion that the more colorful the scene is, the better it is for everyone. FYI, there are a lot of players (pro and otherwise) that get upset when they lose. Look for one instance of Idra being a jerk when he wins... they are going to be few and far between. I think everyone will have a lot more fun if we allow our pro players to be human.

The video was great. But the problem is the audio, the music was kind of loud. I had to raise my volume to hear IdrA better but the music is almost at the same level lol. I think its best to just have no music in the background.
