Depends what generation you are from. If you were born in the 80s, most pick Roy. In the 90s, most pick Brodeur. Being born in the 50s and 60s makes you think of the likes of Hextall or Dryden or Plante, etc etc.
It's just whatever you grow up with I guess.
I liked Roy too, if you base it solely on ability. In terms of all aspects of life, I'd have to give it to Dryden. He's STILL vouching for player safety to this day.
