well done, I would like to see an update. I still consider this an important vid even now for those searching for portable music.

I'd like to point out that, speaker the review is centered around uses a 3.5mm jack so almost all modern smartphones are compatible. If you have a normal sized headphone jack you can use the Nokia MD-6.

@officalstelix the sound on the 5800 is really good and loud, but if u gonna buy a speaker to your cellphone, please buy a xmini, much cheaper, more portable and the bass resonance is much better! Just a tip...

Actually nokia phones are kinda bugged in that way! that happens for real, its no edit thing... with earphones it happens too it's cause the 3.5mm jack is used for headset with mic and music/call controlling so the phone takes some time before it recognizes what kind of device you've plugged. If you use a non-nokia earphone, the mobile asks you: what is it? so the sound can be send correctly to the device... thats normal, specially if you use symbian crap! Well, n78-n95 are like that!

I made a small 10w portable speaker system that runs off 1 or 2 9v batteries for my ipod (/phone with adapter) out of some old computer speakers... Its LOUD lol when you crank it up and play some music with a fair bit of bass the whole thing shakes :D
