theres always a logical explanation, but thats not funny is it! im sure loads of people have thought about why he would have chosen that name, some may have even looked into it. but hes made a joke out of it and people are laughing, so he's doing his job well!

it depends on what you define as reality really. i never take life too seriously and i feel sorry for anyone who does.

izzard makes mundane observations funny and surreal. hes a combination of the two id say. recognising that someone has a funny name is an observation. but if you carry on just telling it for what it is its not going to go anywhere.

python, spot on? what they did isnt far from what hes doing here. embellishing the truth to make it funny. there wasnt actually knights going around saying "nee". thats what a lot of comedy is based on. i could actually image izzard fitting well in a python sketch.

I agree with everyone, one of my favs.

Hindsight being 20/20:

I may not be British, or a TV, but Dress to Kill greatly impacted how I think and what I find funny.

Maybe THE most underrated (or should I say under-appreciated?) Comics of all time.

I think he is a very fine actor as well, but I wish he would devote as much to the stand up as he did in the Dress to Kill era.

One of the funniest 90mins EVER.
