@NotEasilyRegimented Where did I indicate the regime in Iran is good? It's not even debatable how horrible of a government they have there. Not just towards women, gays, jews, etc...but towards the whole population. That is my whole point. The population is a victim of the regime and to wish death on the whole population is stupid. As far as destabilizing the world, there are far more countries that are greater threat to the world than Iran. Don't buy into the propaganda for war.

A few days of leaflets, a few days of flares in the sky, and the people should disperse, scatter away from the targets there. The gasoline refinery.military installations. 7 large dams, electricity generating plants (700) get the idea?

How many regimes are we suppose to overthrow? how about Egypt? Saudi? way worse than Iran. If you think overthrowing governments is so easy, why don't you try to do it here? i can give you a parallel examples of everything that you see wrong with the Iranian regime going on right here.

@NotEasilyRegimented And just so you know: Iran had a democratically elected government back in 1953, loved by it's people. But the US and BP (anglo persian petroleum back then) overthrew it, purely for oil, and installed the Shah. The US has done this to countless countries and continues to do so to this day. so don't think our government is all so great and perfect.

Mossadegh was a thug. He aligned himself with communists, hoping they would protect him when he stole the oil companies. They didn't protect him. Now, ask yourself this question, "How could a handful of CIA agents overthrow the government of a popular government in Iran when 80 million people cannot do it now?"
