I don't have a really dramatic sob story, lots of people go through what I did, but it seems like the end of the world to me.

My Dad was diagnosed with liver cancer at the start of 2009, and within 10 weeks, he was gone. It was so so hard, I was only 12 and I had to grow up so fast.

I'm just so proud of my Mum, she's been so strong, and I love her so so much.

I love how you explain this. I've had my father die when I was 7 and I live with my mom without the father figure. It's rough for anyone to have a holiday dedicated to someone and theres really no-one to look forward to. I sure appreciate my mom taking both roles and I can't possibly thank her enough. But theres always that side of me wishing I've still had my dad. i'm thankful for those words of wisdom. I now can look forward to be father for my future children.
