Luganda part (Ugandan); Nze Nkwagala, nkwagala, nkwagala nyooo omutima gwange gukolowooza (ko) naye oli wala nyo nange (translated; I love you, I love you , i love you so much and my heart is thinking about you but you are so far away from me distance wise)...
I'm a French speaking who has got a chance to live in Tz for a while. I feel very proud of this song as I am a native of the region. This girl does good things in music and she's one of the best from Tz , I can say.
Keep on keeping on , Lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Love your music
these track represents the two richest sounds of the region, from the West Coast, Congolese Rumba's drum and guitar rhythms, from the East Coat Zanzibar Taarab's bass and keyboard rhythms, and the lovely voice that will make a man apologize in advance for anything he will do wrong, Tanzanian Bongo music's heart and soul Lady Jaydee...
where is she from and how many languages is she speaking so its swahilli, luganda, french i think, english and i think there's something else or is that it?
she is from Tanzania ..one of a bunch of countries that makes east africa. I have heard she sings in 5 languages in this song ..i can only identify two, english and swahili
I love Jaydee, always ORIGINAL!! I love her attitude even when she is smiling. Wow the guys shake it better in this video tho, they r with the beat... gotta give it up to them.
Yani. Nampenda sana Lady Jay D. She does such a beautiful jobs of singing the same verse in different languages. I heard french, kiswahili, and english. I think I heard lingala too. I'm not sure. Bilingual singer. I LOVE HER!!! MUNGU IBARIKI TANZANIA!!!!
JAy D your great gurl. u have real talent. luv u too and although am far away from home (UG) i always listen to my african music. NZENKWAGALA, NKWAGALA, NKWAGALA NYOO, OMUTIMA GWANGE GUKULOWOOZA, NAYEE OLIWALANYOO. BRAAAAP BRAAAAAP
I habe als studentin in Kenya deutsch gelernt. Ich wohne aber in New York- seit 2005. Seit wann wohnen sie in Deutschland. Es tut mir leid--mein Deutsch hat vielleicht viele Fehler. Die Musik is wunderbar!!!
Unless you have redefined the term "ghetto", I don't know what is "ghettorian" about THESE REFINED LADIES. And do not talk of "facts" when referring to your own subjective views. You are certainly not my spokesperson.
I can deem that lady jaydee sing like that in lugand, i wish i can sing with her cause i got my own words for that song I can sing in luganda too, any ways is great song, keep it up lady jaydee.we caming too to join you singing we gonna reprent africa that we can sing.
I would be very very greatful if anyone can tell me where to get tracks such as Distance by lady jaydee, jamila, mama rhoda by chameleone. I went to tanzania last year and i just fell in love with that country not to mention the good bongo flavas. therefore i will much appreciate it if you can help me finds these tunes on a CD OR DVD.I live in London!!!
The singer is very talented, the song is catchy. the "guest appearances" very cute!! but the four dancers makes the whole video look sleezy and cheap.
ok the song/lyrics are lovely but the dancing doesn`t go with the lyrics saming lyk a vid portraying the actual action not exect would have been a better back up other than the dance apart from that the lady is gifted kwanza all those languages
East african music videos are getting better day by day.Budgetwise its compared to the US in the early 90z,we r still getting there.Who know mybe in 10yrs from now there will be artists spending a mil in videoz.

its not weak, its just different and low badget :-) ..i generally dont like to see tzn music video and be reminded of 50 cents or any big budget america music videos ..if i want to see them, i will watch BET ..this song is excellent in its own right but ..you r entitled to your opinion
i like the way you explain the situatio for biella.quality needs money that African artist don't have-i like the way they mixed up languages there,i love it about this song.the beat is good too, thumbs up sister.
