Whether or not climate change is real isn't really important. Pollution is real, smog is a serious health risk in many major cities, not to mention most of our fuel sources are non-renewable. That is an undeniable problem, eventually they are going to run out. Even if what you say is true, the efficiency and cleanliness of our energy sources needs to be improved.

Hilarious that the video started with footage of the first Earth Day held in 1970. What it didn't highlight is back then the scientific consensus was that the Earth was heading for global cooling and an ice age caused by carbon pollution. A good example of how bad GetUp is was the headline 'Dredging the Reef'. The southern most part of the reef is 200km away from Gladstone Harbour which isn't part of the GBR marine park. The CSG is being produced and piped over 400km from inland QLD not the reef

@informationwarfare I do agree that Coal Seam Gas is a serious issue, especially with new plants being constructed in the vicinity of the Great Barrier Reef which is concerning.
As for Julia may I remind you that she's running a minority government as was the result of the election. thus compromises had to be made to pass certain legislation such as this and the pokies reform, ever tried to run a minority government? not easy
