  • Good for you brother. mormon Jesus and mormon version of God has nothing to do with our Creator. One God. Alpha and Omega. Fundamental and Mainstream Mormons believe the same things that Men can become Gods themselves and have hundeds if not thousands of wives and populate their own planets. Ridiculous, selfish and nothing to do with God. Joseph Smith was a child molester, a fraud, a liar to his followers and his own wife.Book of Mormon Lamanite story, golden plates never happened.all lies.

  • "To me it's amazing that the creator of the world would say: all the people of the world are going to hell except for this little group here."

Isn't that the central belief behind Christianity?

  • @paterbrat : I would recommend you check out the New Testament to see if the charge your making is really true. Christianity is not a Harry Potter "sorting hat." Anyone who claims to have the corner on who does and doesn't go to Heaven or Hell completely misses the point. God's grace is available to everyone; that doesn't necessarily mean that everyone wants it.

  • @mowglisj But there's plenty of Christians who believe that way, they even take the New Testament out of context to justify their claims.

  • @Justin32598 I don't get it, why is it that when a polygamist is in a May-December romance, it's just wrong, but when Michael Douglas, Harrison Ford, Hugh Jackman, Charlie Chaplin, John Tyler, Jeff Goldblum, J. Howard Marshall, Julius Caesar, Humphrey Bogart, Tom Cruise, etc. do the same thing, it's okay?

  • @paterbrat its legal, BUT this is my dad's 3rd wife so now he has two because we left him. so an 89 yr old can marry an18 yr old legally. but a 17 yr old and a 24 year old can't. so if tom cruise married a 17 year old then it wouldn't be okay at all. but if he marries an 18 year old it would, as long as he isn't already married.

  • @Justin32598 Actually, a 17 year old can marry legally with the consent of both parents.

  • @paterbrat it wasn't legal. it wasn't even real

  • @Justin32598 In protection of your privacy, I deleted the comment with your dad's name, if you didn't want me knowing who you are, you shouldn't have told me in your first comment. Now if you reread the comment i didn't delete, you'll see why your last two comments are contradictions. We are debating on legal grounds, which is why we have nothing to discuss. Legally, your dad kept one wife at a time. Legally, your dad is not a polygamist, but an adulterer which is legal in Idaho.

  • @paterbrat no, he is married to two people at the same time. thats not just adultery thats what polygamy is

  • @Justin32598 He may consider it marriage, but to the law it isn't. I can take some girl and say: "hey, we're married now", but unless I signed the papers, it wouldn't mean a thing to the law. That's exactly what your dad did. LEGALLY(Hint, I said LEGALLY, which means pertaining to law) your dad only had one wife because LEGALLY he didn't marry the two other woman. So LEGALLY, everything your dad did was legal.

  • @paterbrat you just dont get it. do you seriously think plural marriage is legal? if it was legal, the whole group wouldn't be so secret about everything. the two wives he has now weren't married legally. my mom was, but not the two he has now.

  • @Justin32598 WHAT? plural marriage? I thought we were talking about polygamy. There is a difference between the two. Polygamy, a.k.a. bigamy is a legal term for when a man marries more than one woman, plural marriage is a religious term for the same thing. They're different because a long time ago, someone realized that religion and law should be separate entities and put it in a document. It was a little event, wasn't a big deal but you may have heard of it, it was called THE CONSTITUTION!!

  • @Justin32598 Now what your dad did is called plural marriage, which, according to the first amendment, is legal. Whether it's ethical or not is a separate issue. Now if your dad took his plural marriage into the law and tried to legally marry his other partners, he would be a bigamist, and therefore a criminal, but as far as I know, he didn't, and therefore is a law abiding citizen. If you want to convince me that your dad is a polygamist, then provide me with his marriage documents.

  • @paterbrat you'd agree with me if YOU WEREN'T A STUPID WAPTON TOO!

  • @Justin32598 So in analyzing your claims, I have found that no illegal activity has taken place in your family. I think your error is in thinking that your dad married another woman, but he didn't. He did start a relationship with her out of wedlock, but that's practically the norm in western civilization, so there's really no point in coming here just to complain about what your dad's doing when there's nothing wrong with it in the first place.

  • @paterbrat yeah there is something wrong with it... HE CURRENTLY HAS TWO WIVES AT THE SAME TIME! how is that not wrong. that's illegal

  • @paterbrat so... who are you. why do you know my dad?

  • From one religion to the next, weak minds think alike...

  • This is Joseph Smiths cultist self righteous teachings. All Mormons look down upon other people unless they are going to join the Mormon church.
