@mizd61 ok, i think i misread, unfortunately my farsi is already bad and typed comments don't convey intentions very well. the technique though is actually guitar technique (although i guess from a persian view it is tambour technique). since the song isn't a traditional persian one, but a blues-esque song by a western artist, i felt the best way to interpret the song was to play in a way that was not traditional to setar.

also, sorry this in english, but i'm not sure how to say it in farsi.

when i saw this video come up, i was skeptical. but, i must say, it sounds pretty good. keep going.
