  • Of course, if it's a matter of closer=better=pricier, then this show has got it wrong. You can be onstage for $31.25, the cheapest seats in the house, save student rush.

  • Those seats get mixed reviews from a visual perspective (you see people's backs), but other have said the musical experience is incredible.

  • For the frist time seeing the show, I wouldn't recommend on-stage seating either :)

  • Having now seen the show, I wouldn't want those seats under any circumstances. ;-)

  • The funniest part about this is the first three center rows of the orchestra aren't at a premium. They are the same price as your front row mezzanine seats. In my opinion those are the best seats in the house.

But back to your rant. For me, orchestra makes me get more into the story. From the higher mezzanine I feel detached from the scene. It's worth it to pay extra to get the better experience.

  • The New York Philharmonic is the same way: the most frontest orchestra rows are actually cheap seats. I think it's because you have to look up at the stage rather than see it at eye level.

  • While you are looking up a little, the stage is farther back from the front rows than most other shows, because there is a set of stairs leading up to the stage.

  • first three rows are definetly not the best. they kill your neck. but that just my opinion.

  • Your opinion is worth no less than anybody else's. =)

  • did you like the show ?

  • Very much! =)

  • premium seating is gay. i saw curtains in the 2nd row of the center orchestra with a discount. my personal fav seats are about the 4- 10 row in the center orchestra . or any place in the front center mezzanine.

  • I wouldn't pay that premium. Or any premium, in almost all cases. And I agree that mezzanine is better.

I have season tickets for the Redskins, in the upper deck. Even if I had the choice to get lower seats, I wouldn't. The cost difference is absurd. But the view is also better from above. It's the best of both.

  • Holy sh*t! I don't even see the meaning of the question, the pricing is ridiculous, on the other hand I'm biased and prefer to "see everything" from a little higher up if I'm not practically on top of the stage. No to isle K!
