Jun and Lin both really had accents back then. Their Japanese has improved a whole lot and you can barely hear their Chinese accents now. Kudos to them for coming to a completely different country and being able to master an entirely different language :) Unfortunately, they've graduated now :( I will miss them so much. Jun Jun and Lin Lin add spice to Morning Musume. I just hope to hear some Chinese added to some songs....are something. It would seem pointless to add Chinese girls and for them to never speak thier language. Aika on the other hand....I'm sorry, but I can't stand her. Maybe she will grow on me.
And something else you'll notice is that Lin Lin and Jun Jun make their voices higher when they speak Japanese, so it adds a little of a fake and forced quality. Japanese women do this anyway, so they picked it up from them, but I don't know why they do this. Doesn't it make singing harder?

I love them both. JunJun's adorable and I love RinRin's voice and she has plenty of personality! I seriously cracked up when I heard JunJun though. I know she doesn't know Japanese very well, but at least she could try a bit harder. It was so monotone with no feeling. Going from JunJun to RinRin was like going from day to night.
well you can tell she was trying hard to get her japanese right since the words don't blend well like Aika's words do. RinRin's words don't blend as well as Aika's but definately better then JunJun's.
Junjun's Japanese is coming along very well considering she barely spoke a word not too long ago. But, I must say, Linlin is Miss Personality Plus! She comes across so very well on camera. And I say this without knowing a single word she was saying! ;-) I can't wait for the new Momusu single with the whole 8th Generation on it!

I have a question regarding their names. Their names are Li Chun and Qian Li...so where does Junjun and Linlin come from? Is it like a pet name? It seems like Linlin actually understands what she's saying, whereas Junjun is just reciting something she memorized....

If they talk like this, I wonder how they will sing. It's tough learning a foreign language in a short amount of time--especially with the pronounciation. Good luck to them though. :(
Singing a language is a lot easier than speaking it, especially since the Momusu girls learn the songs by listening to demo tapes of someone else singing already. Anyway, Coconuts Musume did fine in their songs, (look up Halation Summer, especially--at that point they were straight off the boat, so to speak) and most of them couldn't speak ANY Japanese.
Aww, JunJun's accent is very thick... LinLin's is a lot lighter though. Chinese people speaking Japanese never fails to amuse me. It's really hard for them to overcome the accent because of the differences in the pronounciations of the languages. I hope they do well!
Think Mitsui will be just fine...She'll fit in to MM perfectly. Though I like JunJun,'fraid she won't last in MM very long.On the other hand,LinLin,whom I don't have that great impression of,will actually last.(age???language???)Arigatou for the clip!!!

the "Chun" in Chinese is "純" and this word read as "Jun" in Japanese, that's why she called Junjun.

i was really impressed with linlin's accent but thats to be expected with her being part of H!p eggs for a while and all. and has nobody else noticed the change in aika's voice? its changed so much since she first began and sounded kinda like a granny. so cute 8th gen ftw!

If they talk like this, I wonder how they will sing. It's tough learning a foreign language in a short amount of time--especially with the pronounciation. Good luck to them though. :(

Singing a language is a lot easier than speaking it, especially since the Momusu girls learn the songs by listening to demo tapes of someone else singing already. Anyway, Coconuts Musume did fine in their songs, (look up Halation Summer, especially--at that point they were straight off the boat, so to speak) and most of them couldn't speak ANY Japanese.

Aww, JunJun's accent is very thick... LinLin's is a lot lighter though. Chinese people speaking Japanese never fails to amuse me. It's really hard for them to overcome the accent because of the differences in the pronounciations of the languages. I hope they do well!

I love their Japanese. I don't know either Chinese or Japanese, but it's so obvious JunJun and LinLin are trying so hard, especially JunJun.

Think Mitsui will be just fine...She'll fit in to MM perfectly. Though I like JunJun,'fraid she won't last in MM very long.On the other hand,LinLin,whom I don't have that great impression of,will actually last.(age???language???)Arigatou for the clip!!!
