Get over it, Harmonix developed GH I and GH II (GH II still has the best setlist among all the GH games), they later went on to develop Rock Band which is a masterpiece of a game. The charts are WAY better than Activision's GH (GH III and onward). GH5's setlist did suck SO much ass. Only good songs there are Vampire Weekend and Du Hast (Rammstein's my favorite band ever) and still, the chart sucked!

Also RB coined the full band game first.

Umm it may look easier to GS with a full band, but that's also down to how well each player does on their instrument. The same method of getting a GS with a full band applies just like above, except the star boundaries are tweaked to compensate the multipliers in the band (everyone sharing an 8x at the same time for example)

So yeah it's still down to how good you are really. To see a GS in any song, expect to hit above 95% with a good SP path :)

Yeah, an FC is a full combo (not missing at all, no overstrums) and gold star is basically down to score, which is a 5* score x 1.4.

For example:

150,000 (5*) x 1.4 = 210,000 (GS score)

I assume the drum fill at the end of the song which gives you an added score. Yeah that contributes to the score. Drum fills within a song mean you have to hit a drum pad (green) to activate star power, they don't give you any points.

Someguy got 5 Stars when he reached 295,000 points, add another half, which is 147,500 points, would mean you have to get about 442,500 points to get gold stars. Which probably is impossible x.x
