Mark Viii DOHC 4.6 motors are great power making motors...the Nissan was in the wrong class; dont feel bad..8 cylinders make more torque and power...Mark viii's are slowly being discovered since they had the 4,6 dohc before the Cobras..... guys ignore the comments by the tree huggers on here!!

@museman007 I didnt post it the guy in the Mark posted the video, He was there with a car club that day, And that was the only pass I finished last out of a total of 16 runs that day... my best was a 12.9 with exhaust only... and in my opinion that is quick for a car that is ment for a road track..... Alot more done to it now my car is far from stock :-)

Sorry But I hit the rev limiter in the Mark VIII as I was trying to manually shift my Auto trans. You can hear this rev limiter is from My Mark VIII as it is very loud and deep.
370Z would be faster, In this Video my car hit the rev limiter shifting from 3rd to 4th which you can hear around the .22 second mark, and I still ran a 13.0 on a very cold track :)

Even if the Mark wasnt modded you were really late of the light, it would have been hard to have over come a stock Mark with a jump like that.
