I actually just beat the secret boss in this game! He was pretty hard, and in the American version he really doesn't make much sense as to why he exists, but I watched the Mega Drive version and it was all cleared up.

Yeah, the Yakkun challenge is difficult to complete, but you can tell how week a 'target mokney' is getting by the color. Once you beat it, that capsule remains empty for the rest of the challenge.

Oh wow, Dynamite Headdy. I never had the pleasure of playing this game for myself, but I remember watching your first LP of it on Google, and I really, really enjoyed it. :3

Bright, colourful, cute little games with interesting characters have always been something dear to my heart, and Headdy is a lovely example of that.

After watching your 1st video lp of Dynamite Heady I was shocked and overjoyed to realize that Dynamite Headdy is now on the virtual console for 8 bucks! Should I buy it? And, does Dynamite Heady have the same text as the version your playing?

YES you should totally get it. We need to support Treasure! Sin and Punishment got a sequel because people bought it on VC, so we ought to show our DH solidarity too.

That version won't have most of the dialogue in it, but I wouldn't consider that a dealbreaker. It's well worth the price, and 8 bucks isn't really that much.

No idea what sort of creature he's supposed to be, but iirc Headdy is made out of cloth. Treasure Box has all, like, 60+ character sheets for the game and it explains what each puppet is supposed to be made of, which is cool.

Anyway, does it also come with a booklet that explains half the bosses in Gunstar Heroes?

I forget, but I know that Treasure Box comes with digital copies of all the manuals for all the games, which is amazing (and even contains awesome dox like Gunstar Heroes' design document). I definitely recommend it if you're a Treasure fan, but I don't remember if you can buy it anywhere nowadays :( I got my copy right when it came out.
