@AxWitness23x hey there, the song should be played in standard tuning (from thickest string to thinnest - EADGBe)... that's what my guitar is tuned to. Check your guitar is also in standard tuning and that might sort things out..? Hope that helps, Thanks, Freddy

whenvever i hold down a string and try to strum below it, the string below always sounds terrible whys that?

@AvengedSevenX1999 hey there, im not sure exactly what you mean. Are you holding down a single string or a chord? Are you strumming a single note or a chord? If its a chord, are you trying to strum and "open notes" meaning, are you strumming any strings which aren't being held down by your finger? Let me know and I'll try to help more :-D

@AvengedSevenX1999 hey there, its possible that one of your fingers on your fretting hand could be slightly touching the other string, and therefore muting the note a little. When holding down strings, you could try to bend your fingers a little more, so that you really are only holding down the string with the very tip of your finger. This should stop you from accidentally touching any other strings. Hope that helps :-D

@nartaed hey there, yeah that's totally normal for beginners. You'll find that over time your finger tips will get tougher and it won't hurt as much to hold down the strings. Just keep trying and you'll be ok in a few weeks :-D
