@miasmablk the purpose of the wheelie bar is to stop the weight from tranfering to the rear of the car. So the weight stays over the front wheels for more traction.

Have you ever seen a honda fwd launch and shift? ... *just for an example of course* ... Torque makes the front of the car bounce up and down which reduces front wheel traction, which hinders the car from putting all of its power, or lack thereof, to the ground. Placing a "wheelie bar" on the rear-end forces the car to stay planted in the front, thus allowing for more grip/traction, resulting in faster acceleration throughout the whole race.

Shows how much you know, the ACR Viper is a regular FACTORY MODEL which has been around for years, it IS STOCK. Sometimes I wonder how you even read.
The ACR Viper is built right along side of base Vipers in Detroit, they are not by any means aftermarket tuned.
ACR to the Viper is like Shelby to the Mustang, or ZR1 to the Corvette, it is just another model, a higher performance model.

No matter where was build and who was build, the point is that car have tuning parts WHAT standard Vipers doesn't have. ACR is another model but with parts that doesn't came stock. ZR1 isn't aftermarket, using all own parts, including supercharger. Both of those cars are great, but invested / obtained is on GT-R side.

What the fuck do you even mean by "tuning parts"? They're parts made by another company, that are used on a STOCK DODGE VIPER. The car is a completely stock FACTORY CAR.
If it rolls off the asembly line with them parts, it is stock, no matter what you say. The supercharger for the LS9 was developed specifically for it, it may as well be an aftermarket part.
Both great cars, but somehow the GTR is better, even though it has less Torque, less displacement, and is slower? Make some sense.

Ok your a retard.. typically they are hydrallicly controlled to force the back of the car upward which transfer more weight to the front of the car to help prevent wheel spin.. launching a high hp fwd car is really hard to do and this makes it alittle bit easier.. look at any drag racing fwd. so before you run ur mouth and think ur smart. go talk with real drag racers. i bet you have some 14sec v8 mustang and think ur cool because you can beat a stock honda. haha DO YOUR RESEARCH DUMBASS!

Oh, and that idea must have minimal affects, unless you're riding on the bar, and not the rear wheels, so if it's hydraulically controlled, it must lift quite a bit of the weight off the rear, and any effects would be minimal at best, and at that, only momentary.
