I love HOTD so Im really pissed how unrealistic it is!!

The main characters are between 16 and 18 years old and they are never really afraid and they are expert zombie killers within like 2 episodes.

The anime could have been so much more intense, with a lot more drama and depth had they reacted like real teenagers – taking their time to defeat their fears and learning how to kill zombies effectively
