Would have never thought this possible until I read "The Earth Chronicles" by Sitchen. The Sumerians tell a pretty good story about our creation. Loyd Pye does too. Seems to make sense to me.

To end all this hypothesis vs theory vs law definition debate - Scientifically, a THEORY is a consensus/agreement to a hypothesis which has been tested and retested and then tested again with all outcomes supporting that hypothesis (though it may not be true, all indications point in the direction that it is). Hypothesis is an educated GUESS based on observations. LAW generalizes a body of observation; it can explain something but not describe it (i.e. law of gravity).

Let's say gravity. The LAW of gravity says mass attracts mass. The THEORY of gravity is a fucked up mess that we really don't understand too well. It tries to explain WHY mass attracts mass.

Theory is not a law. The astronaut theory isn't a law. It's an idea. A concept. The String theory for example is an idea, a concept. NOT a law.
Theories are used to address phenomenons and try to explain. They are plausible ideas but not facts.

There you go. You said "space" while every ancient civilization says "heavens". It is an observation subject to interpretation. I'm not saying it's not plausible, but that doesn't make it a "fact". A fact would be that they made pyramid-like structures.
It may well become an approve peer-reviewed theory some day. But it's just not quite there yet.

We didn't actually start taking record of history that long ago, I wouldn't be surprised if this were true at all. For more beyond ancient physical evidence that could prove this stuff, look up: transvaal spheres, klerksdorp spheres, dropa stones. It's a shame that some of the things of the past we can't explain we just brush to the side.
