for all netbook wow players out there, disable all addons you are using, i get around 30-40 fps with no addons and around 10-20 fps with addons. i have the 1.6 GHz intel atom processor, no clock, 1 gig or ram and intel gma 3150

If you install a small program called Game booster and turn a usb drive into a ready boost I think you'd be able to get a higher FPS. like 10-30 fps instead of 5-20.

I have actually found many uses for my little netbook even though I bought a beautiful full sized Lenovo notebook a week later. At first I just looked at the netbook wondering what the hell it was good for.

Well,,,

Turns out it really is much smaller and easier to lug around than a full sized notebook and the battery life is just about forever (9 hour’s) so I f I pull this thing from my Back Pack I know it will start.

I have this netbook but have not yet figured out what the purpose of a netbook is.. Sure it is small cute and cheap but its not much smaller cuter or cheaper than a bargain notebook . I am enjoying it for fun and with it's 32bit system it can play all my silly old games I found on sale at a thrift shop and played for a moment long ago.

But what do you think is the point of a netbook?

why did you turn vsync off? it usually speeds up the game (not by increasing fps directly but it looks a lot smoother)

@vuiboi Yes I did increase to 2 gb of ram (after this video). No I did not overclock. Im not sure how much less laggy overclocking would make it, I think the problem is the integrated graphics.

Mine didnt come with the HD accelerator, but I havent had any trouble playing video. HD flash video like youtube is choppy, but the high quality looks good and the screen is sub-HD anyway so it looks decent.

I think as netbooks go its pretty great. Mine was around $350 at costco, and comes with the larger battery. As far as it comared to the MSI wind u130 I think the specs are almost exactly the same (Pine Trail 1.6Ghz, 1gb ram, Intel GMA 3150 graphics) so it'd be a question of which form factor you like more. I just like the HP's design more, and how it has glass in front of the screen. I also like the HP's touchpad with integrated buttons. Hope that helps!

Yes, it did come with the 6 cell battery, but the mini doesn't come with bluetooth (the magic mouse is for my iMac).
