  • I don't agree with this video my rottie just knows how 2 sit and he is still as good as gold

  • My rotti was the best in the world to me.

  • hi, I was considering getting a rottie but I have no experience in dogs as it will be my

first dog, do you think getting a rottie as a first dog is alright??

  • @KLP2566 their all the same man, the only difference with big and small dogs in my oppinion, is that small dogs are more energetic

  • @KLP2566 It's fine if you do your research. Things to consider are, Do you have a Type A personality, are you a leader, can you afford it financially? Rotties are not that big considering the large livestock guardian breeds. I would consider a Rottie a medium sized dog much like a Lab. They are a working dog so give it a job. That could be guarding the home or pulling a cart, etc. I have several Kangal dogs & Caucasian Ovcharkas. They guard the home & my children.

  • Hey everyone im playing on getting a boxer, rotti or any other dog could you suggest a good friendly breed suited for family thank you.

  • i have a dog with rottweiler and wolf and some other dogs i keep him out side in the back yard then he brock 8 chains untull i got him a bigger chain and i dont like to see him on there i want to to run in the back yard but i cant he jumpes a 5foot fince do you have eny tips for my problem

  • @GREG5828 Sure, train him.

  • Oh man I though rotties would live longer than 9 years :O

  • I had to put my dog down, my arms were getting tired because hes so heavy.

  • @Carbon657 while walking him you shouldve got a hultee its for horses but it works for dogs it puts less strain on you and on him plus it will be easier to walk him

  • Thank you madam for sharing your great thoughts about Rottweiler... It's very useful.. I'm gonna apply everything that you have said. :D

  • hey guys, she's reading the script...she dont know what the F*** is she talking about..

  • @prospectpsytrance ya.... or how about shes reading her notes because she doesn't want to forget any point/miss important parts, also to make sure the video stays short and on the point.

  • @spicmanz sure that too :P

  • Who is the lady?

  • I'm getting a rottie

  • I would like too much if some body may translate this video, in spanish. please, I don't understand very well. actually just I know some words, but seems very interesting

  • hey folks i got some questsions about rottie's :) now as a person there have never owned a dog before (i was a dog walker for a german sheperd) do you all honestly think a rottie would be a good choice for me? 2: i live in a apartment (71 m2) would it be ok to have a rottie in this big of a apartment? thanks :)

  • @Vakrian I would advice against getting a Rottweiler as a first dog, unless you are willing to go to behaviour classes religiously and find out as much as you can about the breed. To have this dog, you need to walk it 2-3 times a day, as well as do some training sessions, so as their minds are stimulated and relaxed. I don't think the apartment issue is too bad, as long as you can get the dog out a lot through the day- without excuse!

  • @mydogkanskidrums . Agree - A rotty is not a good choice for a first dog at all. Thats why rescue centres are full of them , as well as Bull Terriers and Akitas. People want these dogs for protection or to look hard , and they cant cope with the demands of the breed. A sad thing happened round here , a lad had a Rotti but didnt give it proper excercise - it got bored , run out of the house , into the road and was killed by a car. The idiot has bought another one now :(

  • @funkytomo77 rescue centers are not full them at least not in Dallas i wish they were so i can get one but there's nothing but mutts and Chihuahuas at the rescue center

  • @Vakrian Rotties easily adapt to an apartment if they get enough exercise and stimulation. They do need more attention from you though. I know the post is old but make sure your first rottie is a bitch...

  • My rottweiller is a year and seven months old and still wouldn't bark or show signs of aggression with nobody.

And I thought I'll have a soldier dog lol.

He is way too adorable with everybody. I love him a lot but i would like too see him a little more aggressive with strangers.

    Very good dogs, the rotties!

  • my rottie lived for 13 years, many others do as well, EVERYTHING can be trained with positive response...

mam, with all necessary respect, go home and prepare cookies for your grandchildren, but hands off to rottweilers please...

  • WTF>...i just got an ad right in the middle of the video...

  • i feel proud to have a rott!

but my dog does not allow any one to come in... loool

  • I Have Four Of them Two Boys And Two Females !!!!

  • I'm really excited to start seeing results in my rottie.. well rottie/shepard mix. two great breads. He's picking up on everything fast, but it is sometimes frustrating.

  • Im getting my second this coming summer:)

  • shed

  • lol speaking about not letting strangers leave, a freinds Rotty named Major came up when i was sitting alone came up and started licking my face, whilst hovering over me on the couch.. when i went to move away he glared and growled at me!! I was like SHIT ok fine.. he then preceded to continue licking me till my freind returned... Weird stuff

  • like the old saying goes - what do u do if a rottweiler humps your leg? fake an orgasm!

  • rottweiler are the best!i have 3..2 of them r trained

  • She is absolutely right. This dog needs a firm hand.. but trained, This one of the best, most loyal and well tempered dogs around.

  • Rotties are born good, their training is really easy because they listen and do everything you say, even when they don't know what to do they try to understand and do something for you. My girl understood sit, come, stay the first time I told her any of those words. They do not need a firm hand.. just someone they can rely on.

  • This is useful as Im getting a rottie :)

  • good choice..cause i have 2 great rotties

  • were gettin one this month =D

  • @KallJonte Did you guys get one? How is it?

  • @Agelesslegend23 make sure u feed him raw food, bones and raw meat.
