OKay Guys.. Sorry you guys are experiencing these problems... I have a iPhone 3G and i was on the iPhone Data Package for a 2g iPhone so the MMS feature had a block on it on AT&T's Side... The same thing was happening to me when i was trying to send a MMS from my 3g the little red ! was coming out... So what i did was called AT&T and i told them that i wasn't able to send MMS and they went in and updated my account after i gave them My IMEI number for the iPhone 3g.. & right after it worked.

There is an update through iTUnes but you need 3.1 firmware just go update on itunes

You have to go to settings and open mms.

When u open it make sure the mms messaging is turned on. Then it should work I'm in Memphis TN area.

AT&T is launching a update through iTunes today so be on the look out, it will update the carrier settings to let you send and receive MMS.

Not bad directions. A few points though. It will be c:\program files (x86) on 64 bit machines. Also, the activation of the mms feature isn't regional, it's totally random. Two people living next door to each other may have different results.

You should but i Havent tryed it yet and it only changes the ipcc file nothing to the firmware just the carrier settings

I'm in Fresno too, but i get an exclamtion point (!) "messeage send failure" when i send a pic. is it possible our settings are different?

Did you go to settings - general - reset - reset network settings? try it ok

Followed your instructions exactly. MMS is enabled on my iphone. However, I tried several times to send picture and video text to various friends and the messages will not send. AT&T has not activated MMS in south Texas.

call at&t and ask them to remove the mms opt out codes on your plan. it worked for me.

i thought i had the same problem. i live in ny too actually i think its just an error message that is standard cuz we arent supposed to have it yet. i sent a message and that popped up but my friend texted back about what i sent so it should work

I'm pretty confused with the Windows directions. When you say that, are you saying to type the word "command" in the command line? lol. I skipped that and pasted the command in step 3 but to no avail... Says that it isn't recognized.

yes type in command and then type the code in the command screen that pops up after you pressed enter

Ohh... Ok. Yeah, on Vista you can select the command prompt without having to open "Start - Run"

Which brings back to say that copy/pasting the step 3 has Windows saying that it isn't a recognized command. Do you know what gives? What should it say after entering the command?

If it means anything, my laptop has a 'Program Files' folder and a 'Program Files (x86)' folder in the C: drive.
