  • I used to love this show and would enjoy it with the family every evening after work. It was awesome. Please bring this show back. What a shame to take this show off the air.

  • I like this episode. It is a shame I can't find more of this episode. The Travel Channel stopped airing this show some time after 2002. Don't get me wrong, I like No Reservations, Bizarre World, but I want this show back on the Travel Channel. It was because of Ian that my own thirst for travel got even bigger.

  • @evergreenstater= They brought it back for a while. Sadly, it didn't stay long. I really liked this show. Especially the episodes which showed the Mediterranean areas.

  • Here in Missouri rats are eaten all of the time. I had it in soup Friday . Possum is better though, I just eat it plain with salt and pepper. It is delicious. You have to try it sometime .

  • Ian Wright in Chinese----伊恩 怀特

  • hmmmmm

  • This is so cool, I miss home.

  • cor blimey!

  • sadfteh

  • I tried rockchuck once, and found it just as chewy as Ian has. I'm told that only the younger ones are good eating. Otherwise, you better be hungry enough to eat boiled shoe leather. I'll come back and comment after I zap a youngster and try slow cooking it.

  • I like Ian Wright, but the "backgound" music is obscenely loud. The video cuts off while he's talking, too.

  • Ian is so goofy (in a good way) i had to watch his videos in my class.

  • paulmac38. The black Ian Wright is not the only Ian Wright on this planet.

I tell ya. This dude's name is Ian Wright and he's great.

  • patrocinado por obra social caja madrid

  • they taste so good

  • thats what zenghis khan ate and conquered the world

  • they taste hella good

  • Cool!

  • That's the way you cook and eat without pots, spoons ect.,

  • Even marmots need to let off a little steam.

  • Are those really Mongolians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why?

  • what whats wrong with it ha?

  • Mongolia looks like a beautiful country. I like the looks of the countryside. Kinda reminds me of spyro the dragon.

  • yum, trust me it's delicious, too bad for possible rabid dicease

  • ? in mongolia we do not need to fear that since we have ways to purify our meat but in a different way than others.

  • how do I become Ian?? How do you end up with a job like that!!?

  • by letting your boss beat you in cs

  • this geezer sounds just like Russell Brand

  • Oh dear me. I like when that guy drunks all the junk out of the marmot.

  • nothing like the smell of marmot in the morning.

  • Who's the new lovely Trekker Holly Morris?

  • I love you Ian Wright!! you are the best ;)

  • this is nature vs nurture at its best

  • IAN WRIGHT is totally my favorite globe trekker!!!!!

  • Hilarious!

It hasn't gone anywhere I've had for half an hour in my mouth...

  • Hehe, well I tell you what, it would be a lot better than going hungry. Ian is such a good sport. Excellent show!

  • terraceterra:

    Ian is the best sport!

I've only seen re-runs the last couple of years; does anyone know if they hung up their walking boots?

  • good sport for sure ,i believe i remmeber him drinking blood, eating an eye and a goats testicle. always managed 2 make u laugh too, hes by far my fav

  • If that doesn't kill your appetite then I don't know what is.

  • Ian's hilarious my fav globetrekker are there any new episodes being made. If that marmot could look down from heaven and be like 'What the f*** are they doing with my body, I look like a blimp!'

  • ahahah what a funny comment.

    i love globe trekker too!!!

  • Globe Trekker = favorite show everrrrrr

  • this guy is hilarious. with his quirky attitude, funny facial expressions and english accent

  • I love Ian Wright

  • yummmy delicious...

  • Oh and on this episode that was in Crete, I saw the other day there was a really hot guide that I haven't ever seen. Somebody should tell me who she is.

  • That was Adela Ucar Innerarity - check her out @ PilotGuides-dot-com

  • Ian is hilarious.

  • I love the part of the show where Ian has a party by himself.

  • is there a place where i can buy every globe trekker episode made like a complete boxed set of globe trekker?

  • Yep @ globetrekkerstore-dot-com

  • Ian Wright is hot,and if I owned a desert island I would invite him to come and trek around it,but I would never let him go.

  • The background music is by Ian Ritche and The Insects - the actual tracks composed for Globe Trekker Mongolia were: Anvil, Anvil 2, Dessert 1, Dessert 2, Fast, Ghost Town, Marmot, Marmot, Mongol Beat, Mongolian Spoons And Acordian, Monks, Nadaam, River And Forest, Rocky Mountains, Russia, Steppe, Sunrise, Throat Singing: Group, Train, Yarnag...

  • 'Globe Trekker Volume 2' features Marmot you can buy online at iTunes or as a music CD at GlobeTrekkerStore-dot-com. Also check out our broadband channel - GlobeTrekkerChannel-dot-tv. This Fall we'll be launching Mp3 music downloads which have never before been released on CD. Hope this helps :)

  • THANX A Million :)))))))))

  • i am big fan of Ian wright and globe trekker series. Can some one please help and tell me whats this background music is,any info would be helpful .I tried to find this piece of music in "music from lonely planet series" volumes 1,2,3,4 but couldnt please tell me if i making mistake :)

  • Ian Wright is my favorite guide in the series. Megan is also really good. I'm not a big fan of Justine but the Paris and England videos are good. Watch Globetrekker India. It's 2 cds, 4 guides. I think it's the best, though Ian's not in it. The Brazil one is amazing and Easter Island, Iceland and Greenland and Mexico. Ian's in these.

  • As a big fan of the show and someone who knows a little about india (though maybe less than you), I don't agree there. I think they were among the most disappointing b/c there were ALOT of places they should/could've gone to that they didn't. And some places they did that they shouldn'tve. Though each ep had its moments.

  • The coolest thing about the India dvds was that all of the guides, except for one, appeared to have never travelled to India before.Having never been to India myself it was refreshing to see their first reactions to a country where, though one might read so much on it, nothing comes close to preparing you for the actual experience. Worked better than having a person who's already been there show you around. You get an honest sense of what it would be like to visit.

  • I want his job! haha.

  • well, just want to say BUBONIC PLAGUE.

  • i just threw up.

  • Even though I have little desire to eat marmot, that is still the best damn job on earth. And I adore Ian Wright. I wrote him a fan letter when I wa 13, and he sent me a lovely post card.

  • I love Ian Wright's travel videos!
