Simply not a better group, better duo - Hank and Bruce - nor a better song than this. I spend the summers in the Canadian Rockies (Creston) and two years back I found a fellow Anglo who used to love the Shads. So we got together every Tuesday and practised all the old hits. We had quite a few tunes and eventually did a few gigs. I really look forward to getting back there and picking it up again. Thanks boys, thanks Jerry Lordan for such a terrific song, and thanks HM1992 for posting this.

So, so wonderful! This should stand as proof that you don't need speed and crazy distortion to make a great guitar solo. It's all about tone and feel, interpreting every single note so that it means something. Guys like Hank Marvin and David Gilmour were at the top of that kind of playing. Metal guitarists like Hammett and Van Halen get all the pub for their flair. No question they are brilliant in their own way though\!

Just beautiful, and doesn't Hank look good!! Such wonderful memories of being a kid and listening to the Shads, this brings it all back. Where has the time gone? I thought I'd be young forever. Play this for my dear brother Gary, who died 5 years ago. He used to listen to saturday Club way back in the 50's and 60's and it was through hime I discovered music.
