i hope before i posted this comment, you already discovered about the basic gun safety specially when youre in a range. let us not disregard safety, most especially when handling guns so that the people who watch this kind of videos will not immitate the errors unawarely made.
Not a bad video but your shooting technique is a COMPLETELY different story. I'm not sure where you learned how to shoot, but the way you don't really hang onto that gun is going to cost you some fingers if you keep it up. See the way your hand jumps away from the gun every time you fire? Not good. It also appears to me that you're not locking your wrist. Big no-no. Don't take this the wrong way. Just trying to help you out.
On another note. I am glad that you are as happy with this gun as I am
the slide doesnt stay back when u shot your last round?? is it an old model? coz all new ones when u shoot your last round the slide stays back..............
@dozzy000 I use the Promag magazines for my C9 and they work great! he only think I discovered is that with the Promag magazines is that the slide will not lock open on the last round.
Hey kid!! Learn how to hold a firearm properly!! There's no wonder your getting jams. I have the same pistol. Polish the feed ramp and get a proper grip. I have fired a couple thousand rounds through mine with only a couple of jams when it was breaking in!!!
hahha yea seriously but my hi point doesnt work to well with it is the bad thing, and i always hit the mag release with my thumb, thats why it jams a lot
I just wanna' put in some shooter-to-shooter advice. At 1:55, I'm assuming that's you, you are using your left eye. The same percentage of right handers are right eye dominating. This means more than likely, you are not using the right eye. I may be wrong. You should do a field eye test to check though.
I encourage you to try a push-pull grip on your firearm like what you see in my videos. Your grip is serviceable, but you may be inducing some malfunctions with your cup-and-saucer style, plus you are causing the recoil to be over exaggerated with your stance.
You'll shoot your finger off kid!

Also, if you keep tickling the front of the trigger guard like that you'll shoot your finger off. The little kid holds the pistol better than you!!

i know, i hate the lower reciever on hi points though because no matter what way i hold it i always hit the mag release

almost every time i shoot i hit the magazine release ive tried to hold it different ways but it doesnt feel right
GreeseMonkeyy 2 years ago
get some one who has experience at the range to show you how to hold it. Plus try and shoot with both eyes open.
