No, Ron Paul's position is that U.S. foreign policy contributed significantly to the 9/11 attackers motives. Turn on the TV?! How about read a book. Two in particular: "Blowback" and "Dying to win" Ron Paul is not justifying the terror attacks, in fact he voted to go after Bin Laden, but the war in Iraq is allowing al-Queda to do even more recruiting. The terrorists are against foreign occupation on their lands, and the occupation in Iraq will only fan the flames in the region.

Ron Paul is right in-line with Ben Franklin's thinking on this subject. When Franklin said "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure", he didn't just mean with regard to our HEALTH! Rather than create the "Dept. of Homeland Security", etc., to deal with future 9/11-type attempts...why not change our foreign policy, so that these people do not WANT to come over here and kill us?
