yes I know...I never heard someone from new zealand talking with an english accent...I talked about the parts in australia which had been english colonies
WOOO! The Veronicas rock! To be honest the part about them was the only reason I watched this coz I've never even heard of the others in this part of the V-Blog.
LOVE LIVVI FRANC!!!! Wishing big things for her!! got to love my bajan people!! Barbados has some very talented artistes and performers, Rihanna, Alison Hinds,Rupee, Arturo Tapping, Livvi, Shontelle, Philip Scantleberry, Rose ann Philips to name a few cause, they are so many! Toby you sounded great playing!!
Hi Toby, Thanks so much for sharing your joy of music and production ideas through your videos, website and great magazine articles. I especially enjoyed your video seminar on the NY Logic Users Group site-really helpful to me, a new Logic user. I've been asked to produce demos for my young guitar students up here in Toronto. You're a real inspiration. The good "vibes" you are sending out are making their way to us and into our music. Thanks very much Toby! Have a great day in NY!
Hey Toby, another great video! Really made clear how important practicing one's improvisation skills is. Your playing on the piano was amazing! You seem to have the technique of a classical trained pianist combined with influences of romantic piano works as well as jazz. Can't wait to hear Jarrett's Koeln concert. Your performance also had a true climax in it, like a short movie! Do you have a different approach when composing with the guitar vs. the piano? Thank you so much! Daniel
thanks for the kind words. Yes, writing on the guitar feels more random ...the piano makes it harder for me to discover interesting new music "by mistake" because it's more logical (-:
Thanks! Interesting view, I feel very similar. My writing on the piano is more predictable because I'm more familiar with typical chord changes here than on the guitar. I saw your broad musical vocabulary on the piano, so maybe you personally feel something is "logical" where as someone less educated would find it "new+interesting".If you're writing on the guitar, maybe something would thrill you which you would find "just logical" on the piano, right? :-) Daniel
Wow voll geil die Impros! Du kannst echt hammer geil Klavier spielen Toby!

why she have an english accent?
is she originally from the UK ?
idealsweetlove 3 years ago
she is from australia and there they mainly speak with an english accent, because of the english colony
pimalavi 3 years ago
If she was Oz why would she have an English accent? I'm from New Zealand across the ditch from Oz and they definitely don't have english accents.
