It's not that Tsubasa Chronicles is bad... as a series by itself, not taking into account that these characters are not Sakura, Li, and the sameas we know them, then yes it's good. On a personal basis though... Clamp is very creative... I just don't know why they couldn't make new characters for this series in "Sakura" and "Li's" spots.

@TheAnime4fan ok just a question. I'm a huge CCS fan and when I first read Tsubasa Chronicle I was like yes a sequel but then it was like completely different! They were even different people practically just with same name and looks. Does it ever really cross over between CCS or do they just stay the same and never even be like they were then? I mean I liked some of it but it just wasn't the same or anything like CCS and it made me sad cuz I wanted it to be!

@KronicAdiktion No It never actually does, although Sakura (From CCS) is mentioned on a few occasions and even showned breifly at one point, also Sakura's wand is shown as well. But they are kinda the same person, just from different demensions so they have a different personailty and whatnot? (Like how they meet the same people over and over again in the book but there different, well thats what they are to the CCS characters.. if that makes any sense?)

To cut it brutaly short, the titular character, Sakura, accidently releases a number of magical cards into the world and is contracted by Kero, the guardian beast to capture them by defeating their physical forms. Captured cards can later be used to help defeat the others.

Joining her in this quest is Li Syaoran (Shaoran in english), a decendant of the magician who first created the cards.

It's ace. Wish I had it on DvD.
