@MattyBur1 it is titled "the soldiers return" because of his return to the VMI after his death. it is played during the parade in his honor, signifying his "return"
@koolcatz222 It wasn't a lost cause like some historians believe, the South had a chance. But like you said it is important to remember those who fought regardless of uniform color
"Order A.P. Hill to prepare for action! Pass the infantry to the front rapidly! Tell Major Hawks"—then stopped, leaving the sentence unfinished. Presently a smile of ineffable sweetness spread itself over his pale face, and he said quietly, and with an expression, as if of relief, "Let us cross over the river, and rest under the shade of the trees."

Great soundtrack. Wish the movie had been to the same level. Maybe the re-edit blu ray will be a little better.

@rebelwolfman he developed pneumonia but no one knows how. I doubt that it had alot to do about friendly fire
brendo150 1 year ago
@brendo150 His arm was amputated (The bullet was friendly) and he because he was very weak, he died of Pneumonia(Which wasn't very deadly, even then)
ViccardXViccc 1 year ago
@ViccardXViccc Well no matter how he died, pneumonia is very deadly and if not caught and treated quickly the victim could die.
