  • To be fair, the girl isn't part of the government, so her words were her own personal beliefs, not state sponsored. Now she should have been cut off for threatening that people would be set on fire for not agreeing with her, but not because of church-state separation.

  • This is so true, for christians have had a free reign to preach, knock on peoples doors trying to

'get souls saved', they will stop people in the street to witness to them, in other words, to simply be a pest, and do whatever they wanted to do in order to spread the gospel of christ.

However, now that they are getting a taste of their own medicine, all of a sudden they are being picked on, well it's about time they know how it feels.

  • The definition of religion: "A personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship" Evolution use to be taught as a theory now it is being taught as a fact. It has now become a belief system. Our schools have been turned into humanistic churches You can be kicked out of college, and if your a teacher you can be fired if you come against their belief system

  • @SeedsOfHatred you can't reply because you know the truth That evolution is being taught as a fact therefore it has now a religion Even 30 years ago it was only taught as a theory

  • @SeedsOfHatred you can't respond because you are not rational Most atheist are hammered when confronted with the truth. A Moron acts out of hated and responds with insults. Your unintelligent childlike attitude is a reflection on your character. I feel sorry for your wife and kids if you have any

  • @SeedsOfHatred Hmm I wonder if you would say that to me on my block in my face I don't think so You write big but in reality you would be scared to say some of the stuff that you Write about in someones face Would you go into a black neighborhood talking your trash come on seeds of hatred get real

  • @newcity777 Hey kiddo?

Settle down. Nobody's impressed by your adolescent rambling.

  • @SeedsOfHatred you need to cowboy up and be real Im just calling you out You write big but in reality your just a nice guy Nobody in their right mind would go up in someone's face and tell them your a @#$monron You need to grow up and stop hiding behind some facade of rock&roll toughness

  • @newcity777 The first thing you need to do is take everything you just said, and apply it to yourself.

THEN perhaps we can have an intelligent discussion.

But I'm not holding my breath.

  • Comment removed

  • @newcity777 By your logic, basic math is a belief system cause you can be fired, as a teacher, if you 'come against their belief system'. :P

Evolutionary traits are pretty conclusively demonstrated by bacterial organisms on a daily basis. Evolution as a theory is also pretty conclusively derided from the massive array of DNA and fossil evidence available to us (y'know, the stuff you skim over in school. :P)

Of *course* you slap a teacher upside the head for denying it baselessly. =p

  • @jaieet Well I guess you believe Evolution is a Fact. You have just agreed with me then, thanks and God bless

  • @jaieet 1plus 1 is a fact It is not a theory I don't have to try and believe that one day that 1plus 1 will one day turn into 2 Man get real

  • @newcity777 (2)

But I'd wager that you *do* believe 10000x10000 = 100000000. And I bet that you've never counted it all up personally; opting instead to use a calculator or math shortcuts (adding 0s onto the end of the first multiple for each 0 in the latter multiple). How can you be sure the sum is correct?

...Unless math is a RELIGION!!!! :P

Just cause you're being told or taughtt the shortcuts, doesn't mean you know squat about the basics. =P

  • @jaieet Your logic is your own downfall a kink in the armor Please no more

  • @jaieet Let me ask you because I am confused with your logic Do you believe that evolution is fact or a theory If you say that you believe it is a fact then your a humanist. Humanism has been stated that it is a religion

  • @newcity777 " If you say that you believe it is a fact then your a humanist."

lol, really? What on *Earth* do you think humanism has to do with biology? =P

I don't have to believe evolution is anything. Indeed, I am not qualified or educated to the point where I really can do so.

But seeign as we trust people who do courses in engineering, or medicine, or electronics, or nanotechnology... it would be completely insane to disregard one scientific avenue on the base that we don't like it, yes? :P

  • Comment removed

  • @newcity777 Even were you to somehow manage to successfully convey the point that a biological study practice is a religion (lol :P), where would that leave other religions like Christianity? "We believe that the human body is comprised mostly of water" - and what do you base that on? Your religion?! - "Well... yes! Also, we have conducted analysis' of the human body in the past."

It'd definitely come as a welcome change to most religions, that's for sure. =P

  • @jaieet Humm? Your religion has no hope no Life after Death insurance, Lol even your car has insurance Death is real no joke don't count all your money sitting at the table You better know when to run son IF you ever get in a bind and get stuck in a fox hole of an NDE at least try Jesus. the bible says "for whosoever shall call on the name of Jesus shall be saved". Many people have felt their spirit being pulled from an NDE I'm just giving you some free insurance peace and love no fear

  • @newcity777 You only believe in Jesus so you can live when you die? ;p I'd be happy to tag along and join in, were it not for the rather significant point that worshipping him in return for eternal life is kind've equatable to worshipping a doorknob in return for an inflatable mattress of cheesespread that never runs dry.

Though props to you for dismissing every point you made earlier in the desire to make a sudden (somewhat lacking) attempt at converting me. ;p

  • @jaieet religion forces with rules and regulations the God-Man Jesus releases you He gives man free-will

  • @newcity777 I've got that anyway. :P

  • @newcity777 A science teacher, at least. It doesn't really matter what kind've education a music or history teacher has in the field of biology. ;p

  • Satanism, the teachings of Islam and other forms of hate speech should not be tolerated. For example if someone is teaching a lesson on how to kill the infadel or putting curses on people then someone should try to stop them. However if someone is there in a peaceful setting not out to hurt anyone why come against their free speech.

  • To teach a theory as fact in your humanistic schools is a belief system which in a way is just another religion

  • i do agree that the rules are the rules. if no religion is to be thought in school then it should not. lets keep it fair for everyone. I hate it when christians try to bend the rules to preach.

  • @glower125 So being taught about evolution, and humanism (a belief system) 24/7 to kids is balanced. Kids are being taught everyday that evolution is a fact. The kid at Columbine High School who went on a rage had on his T-Shirt at the time of his murders "Survival of the fittest. Sounds like a radical religious person to me. Now who is bending the rules sir

  • i dont believe why are atheists pissed off when christians threaten them with hellfire..if you dont believe in hell and afterlife where is the threat then? is like you can become blind if you masturbate...who gets pissed off about this threat. In my opinion, atheist are reaching with this complaint. who cares if you dont believe in the threat? just my two cents.

  • I live in a govt. sponsored apt. complex, and right in the main lobby of the bldg. the far too many christians that live here hold a bible study.

Mind you this is the main lobby where the mailboxes are located, and it is the main entrance to the complex so all that enter in must hear the bible whether or not we want to.

However, if the tables were turned, and lets say I was to hold a reading of the Satanic bible, or any other non xtian book, the christians would be in an uproar!

  • That is so true, when the christians are given a taste of their own medicine they have a fit.

  • @53dumey

And supernatural sounds more rational than whats physically there? It's not even worth answering you anymore. You are clearly brainwashed and backwards. You want to be ignorant? Stay ignorant while the rest of us move forward.

  • @chickypunk18 Have you ever researched the science of NDS. There are people who are totally blind at birth who don't even know the color of black come back from death, who go into detail of what they saw in color. They can even hear what the doctors are saying at the time of their death. They can feel at times being pulled from their body and then being put back in. There are many of these accounts that have been recorded by doctors. Try to have an open mind for nobody knows everything

  • @53dumey

of intelligence. So what? What's you point?

Point is, science does not have the answers to EVERYTHING, but the default cannot be god. How do cells work? Oh I DON'T KNOW or UNDERSTAND therefore it must've been designed by god.

WTF don't you want to know why life works the way it does?

It looks to me like people like you choose the easy way out instead of trying to discover the answers.

  • @chickypunk18

    Why not God ?

If science can't answer the question then what are the answers ??

Multi-verse, Multi Deminsions, Multi realities ??

    Science is getting Lame !

  • @53dumey Science doesn't know. Yet

  • @chickypunk18 The science of information states that in order to have a code you must have intelligence behind it. Dna is the most intelligent code that we have today It is an actual language Evolution does not teach intelligent design So why put all your faith in a flawed theory

  • @chickypunk18 Science can explain everything, we just havn't discovered all of it yet.

  • @53dumey

What scientists are getting away from that theory? I'm not a scientist, I don't know how that works. But that is the most generally accepted theory of the 'big bang.' Who knows, in 20 years it could be proven wrong and maybe it was something else?

We don't know who the common ancestor is yet, but instead of giving credit to an invisible man in the sky, we are actually out there trying to find out.

Intelligence comes from years of evolution. But different animals have different levels

  • @chickypunk18

" Intelligence comes from years of evolution " ???

    Can you Prove that ???

  • @chickypunk18 Explain to me how UN-intelligence can create Intelligence you can't And I can't wait 1 day and surely not 20 years for you never know when you will leave this earth. Your logic is dangerous for if you have to get car insurance how much more do people need LIFE after Death insurance. Hey if I'm wrong at least I can say I did not take a foolish chance on my one and only soul or other souls as well

  • @ 53dumey

I'm not the one claiming god doesn't exist. Again, the burden of proof is on you. :)

And yes, if you say dark matter doesn't exist, you are making a claim. Therefore you have to prove it to me.

  • @chickypunk18

Science deals with the Physical Not the supernatural.

Science has yet to find dark matter !

  • @53dumey Maybe you should read up about dark matter on wikipedia? ...Sure, we haven't seen dark matter, we're not fully aware of what it does, but the observational evidence of it Being There is quite overwhelming.

  • 111k views! The world is getting healtier!

  • @53dumey

And that just means there are over 6 billion people that are brainwashed and sheep. 6 billion people that will believe without proof. That says a lot. And no, the bible isn't proof. That is a book written by men. Oh? What? That's all you have? Not good enough. If you were to show me some REAL proof, I would have no problem in believing in him. Otherwise, he doesn't exist to me.

  • @chickypunk18

Wheres the actual evidence for the Big Bang ? Some Scientists are getting away from that Theory.

What is the Common Ancestor to Man ? No one knows.

Where did Intelligence come From ? No one knows.

You have faith that science will or can answer those questions.

I have faith in God !

  • @53dumey

YOU, sir, are making the claim. YOU have the burden of proof. Just because antoireland09 says that he does not believe (and that is because of lack of evidence) does not mean he has to prove anything. You are the one making the claim. YOU prove it.

  • @chickypunk18

When people say they don't believe then no reason is required.

But if they say that God does'nt exists then they are just as responiblle for their claims as someone who says that God does exists.

I could say that Dark Matter does Not exists and you would require a reason why I said that !

  • The Supreme Court has ruled that schools have the right to restrict free speech in a medium that they have sponsored (ie student speeches and school newspapers). It would violate first amendment rights to rights to stop someone from proselytizing on their own time and outside of a government sponsored event, but those conditions do not apply to a graduation speech.

  • So the "authorities" should dictate what the elite individual says?

Fuck that noise. Sure, the valedictorian was a dumb Christian cunt, but better idiots be allowed to speak than we allow our masters to dictate speech.

  • The Valedictorian is an individual. If you oppose the individual speaking their mind, you oppose the individual. Simple as that.

  • @blackacidlizzard I agree, she had the right to say what she wanted. She is an individual. Keeping church and state separate DOES NOT apply to her at all. In fact not allowing her to talk about her religion would be a violation of her freedom of speech.

  • @blackacidlizzard But there is no need for them to tell everyone they are going to hell at a GRADUATION. There is no need for it. Yeah, they can spew her utter idiocracy if they want, but they are a douche for doing it. Unnecessary...

  • @66gt40lm

If I recall correctly, this video clip is of people taking the position that this type of speech must be banned from schools. So your take is all well and good, but if that is your position, your grater complaint should be with what i am arguing against, not what I am arguing.

  • @blackacidlizzard people are not forced to go to places lets say like the sidewalk, you can preach there... but schools are a mandatory or highly recommended place to be, and if you preach to 1000 people when they did not expect you to and it is against the constitution and you just say, " Fuck the constitution..."

  • @TheAtheistProphet1

LOL, the teachers preach in public schools all the time. That's much of the point.

But you don't have a problem with what is preached by the teachers, do you? What if I suggested that schools "teach the controversy" on race? Would you support that? Or do prefer the current standard where students are told outright falsehoods in addition to slanted focus, so that they will have the "right perspective"?

  • @blackacidlizzard I am with separation of church and state. I am confused which side you are on.

  • @TheAtheistProphet1

Ok, so what about the church of Blame Whitey? What about the church of Government Is Necessary? Or the church of Evolution Only Creates Groups Which We Decide To Recognize?

Should teachers teach completely unverifiable and unfalsifiable claims, such as the desires of historical figures, as fact?

  • "You're poisoning the minds of our children" haha get a taste of your own medicine XD

  • American children are taught in school(and church) how the early Puritan settlers came to America in search of freedom of religion. They are never taught that those same Puritains were actually hanging quakers on Boston Common 30 years later. For being Quakers and saying so.

Oh America! Until you see yourself as you really are you cannot move forward to a saner kinder future.

  • @CobinRain Not to mention all the other people they butchered along the way. There's a good list of them here: articles.exchristian [net] net/2002/10/how-many-people-have-been-killed-by.php

  • Two bald blokes with beards talking good sense!

  • One of the best speeches ever on the subject.

    Well said Matt!

  • Oh wow, I hate how people have double standards! <3 xxx

  • I believe that ANYONE of ANY religion should be allowed to openly talk about their religion WHEN and WHERE they want. BUT...it needs to be delicate. I am a proud Christian, and am quick to admit it, but you will never see me walking around calling people sinners and telling them they're going to Hell. Everyone should be open about their religion...just don't put others down. That's what I live by.

  • The amendments huh? Do u even know one of them besides that u can keep ur mouth shut? Oh I just taught u to plead the fifth, I guess u know tht one now

  • Also Matt needs not misrepresent our rights either. I hate when people are dishonest with info. There are NO legal papers ever written tht talk about separation of church and state. I am very well read up on those because I am a cj major with concentration in legal studies. He is talking about Jeffersons letter which is not a legal doc. And after Jefferson wrote the letter, he walked to the capital building for church.

  • @mnoguera13 You must be an idiot. Its called THE FUCKING AMENDMENTS

  • Why read the rest if u misrepresent the verse in duet. Why not write everything around it like about crying out rape or they both get stoned. Please don't use verses tht u yourself don't think about critically before posting

  • Hah!

    "There's nothing on this paper."

    "Yeah, we're atheists."

  • christians need AIDS, all of them

  • @Grominx That's plain fucking stupid...

  • @DocStrange0123 You're just plain fucking gay...

  • @Grominx Thank you, that proves my point...

  • @DocStrange0123 wow dude, no need to get angry. Its just youtube, relax. Jesus fuckin christ lol calm the fuck down sheesh

  • Comment removed

  • @Grominx Assumption, what makes you think I'm angry? I'm not. The point is: to aks/wish for ALL Christians to have AIDS has some extremately repugnant implications. 1-Heartless comment, what the hell were you thinking? 2-You are in some way insulting and diminishing the pain, trauma, social stigma and suffering of people who actually have AIDS, you insult the memory of 2.8 million people that die because of it each year, you should be ashamed. And is an Atheist who's telling you this.. ¬¬

  • @DocStrange0123 woooooo man. Dude, you need to chill out. I didn't know you have AIDS you don't need to get all defensive about it. Maybe you shouldn't of been having unprotected gay sex

  • @Grominx To make wrong assumptions is a hobby of yours? I don't have AIDS... and I'm not gay, I'm bisexual... and it's now pretty obvious that you're just another lame wannabe troll, and as soon I detect a troll the conversation is terminated, You don't want to aknowledge that what you said is wrong and a very tasteless thing to do? fine... ignorance is bliss...

  • @DocStrange0123 zing

  • DEAD ON!

Lot’s of Americans believe: “My religion deserves to be more equal than the others.”

  • Here's my opinion. First off I'm Christian. However if someone chooses not to believe in Christ or God I'm not going to judge them, I may feel sorry for them but it's there choice. ANYWAY to my main point, If society wasn't a bunch of pussies why would religion bother them. If you don't believe in God why would someone speaking of God bother you? And for children in this case can they not choose for themselves? I personally like to believe i'm not going to die and just sit and rot for eternity.

  • @eminempkr You won't rot for an eternity. You will rot for a maybe a couple of years and then you will be gone. We were all dead before we were alive, and as I recall, it wasn't that bad.

Would I like to live forever in paradise? Hell yeah! But I don't believe something just because it's comforting. I believe in things that are supported by evidence.

Plus, the Bible says that in Heaven, we will spend an ETERNITY praising God. That sounds boring. Why would you even want that?

  • @eminempkr If you feel sorry for them, you ARE judging them. We feel sorry for people who are disadvantaged or suffering. If someone is disadvantaged by comparison your are of advantage. That means you're in a better place and you believe that. Now if you believe that for false reasons you're arrogant. If you make policy that affects others based on that your a dick. People speaking of God doesn't bother me. Non-scientists trying to deciding what is and isn't science does!

  • YA Matt, some bitches be crazy.

  • @eminempkr That's judgement

  • If we are made in his image, then why aren't we invisible too?

  • @jeremythehuman I'm using that.

  • @jeremythehuman yeah, and if were made in his image, why can we get sick, our body is nowere near perfect etc, and everyone looks different..

I thought god was 1 single entinty

    not a black,white,yellow shemale homosexual...

  • @jeremythehuman hahahahha holy shit that was funny

  • @jeremythehuman no, if God made us in his own image, then he must be imperfect too!

  • @jeremythehuman

Because we (men) have one rib lees. I guess that's the key to invisibility - an extra rib.

And women - they are here just to keep us company.

  • Christian: "Everyone is free to express their religion as long as it's a Christian denomination".

There are about 38000 denominations btw.

  • @LegionIscariot Very true. And not every denomination agrees with every other one. Ex. Catholics/Protestants. They worship the same god, same book, same JAYSUS yet Ireland nearly tore itself apart.

  • This is happening now in both my kid's schools. They even promote afterschool Christian camp on the school campus for students to join. Also, I was appauled when my daughter said that her math teacher went around asking the kids their religion. She answered, I don't want to say, it's private and got a curious response. This is not right, it's 2011 and it's still happening. Ofcourse this is Texas.

  • god hates synced audio

  • Hahaha Christian contradiction at its finest right there.

  • If the people they're talking about were any more ironic, they'd be hipsters...

  • This video is better because the audio is not synced with the video.

  • The question was about building hospitals, not their administration.

However, by your shifted definition of religious, there are no religious hospitals. Staff don't need to have a specific religion, or any at all. There are no religious rituals as part of the treatment, and patients aren't accepted or turned away on religious grounds.

  • anyone know of a website where I can download atheist leaflets or an origination where I can get some flyers from

  • I would happily preach the word of God but I wouldn't complain if someone preached their own religion as well. This is America, we have freedom to express whatever we believe.

  • i'm a christian and have come across pagans and I leave them alone. i don't agree but i don't provoke them

  • I'm a Christian, and I fully support the seperation of Church and state. After all, Jesus does say "Render unto Caesar's what is Caesar's, and render unto God's what is God's".

  • My plan is to soon get a stall & hand out blank pieces of paper; the God Squad are allowed to hand out flyers about Jesus & God, so why can't I do the same with plain pieces of paper? It sounds like a fair deal to me

  • And most recently, Damon Fowler of Bastrop LA. Except, he was discommunicated from the community and his family for emailing his principal with concerns about prayer at the commencement.

  • 'N Sync would dislike this video.

  • Perfect example of how freedom of religion has become freedom of MY religion.

  • uh, the lips move a few seconds later than the sound....

  • This is wonderful :D

"Let us promote religions in schools!"

    "OK..."

"No, no - we meant just OUR religion!"

"Sorry, pal - that door swings BOTH ways..."

I can see Matt weeping with laughter at this - it's SUCH a FAIL!

  • matt does love the word "asinine" doesn't he :P

  • "You're free to follow whatever religion you choose, so long as it is not forced onto others" is a great rule, I'm glad that the exception was played against the Christians who vyed for it to only be for their beliefs, serves those damn hypocrites right

How come all the fun stuff happens in America? The most I've had is the street preachers & the Reverend of the local church coming around asking if we wanted them to pray for us...a bit dull when compared to idiots like the ones Matt rips on here

  • @hornerc1 Hey it's in his name lol.

  • I would like to point out that not all of us Christians want to force Christianity down Atheist throats for stupid reasons; some actually don't want others to go to Hell, and we do what we can to do what we consider 'saving' people. I share, I preach a little, but I be careful not to force it down throats.

  • @imzackable If an Atheist fears Hell, than he is NOT an atheist.

  • I laughed at the pathetic 37 dislikes

  • @tgillspy1 "The holy bible is the ultimate objective standard for understanding the truth of who God is and what he is like..."

    Oh really?

And the proof your bible has ties to the supernatural can be found where?

  • @tgillspy1

Your religion is a fraud, so we will not listen.

  • @NUTCASE71733 Way to look for the truth. =D

  • @tgillspy1 who said the bible was the ultimate objective standard for understanding the truth of who god is again?

    i forgot his name.

ow yeah it was you and the other christians alive today.

can you even tell me who wrote the first bible and how he proved he was right about his claims. .

cause that would help me a lot more. then just saying the bible is true.

  • @tgillspy1 wake up

  • Religion, even spoken prayer in school etc... is Free Speech !

Should a Preist or Minister be allowed to read the Bible in a public school ?

No, because that would be a violation of seperation, but a private individual should be allowed.

  • In an effort to show christian hypocrisy, Matt just showed his own !

" Divisive piece of securtarian crap "

Pagan flyer ...." I never laughed so hard in my life "

    Matt, your no intellectual !

  • 53dumey = lol.

  • Wow just WOW

  • In regard to the flyer talk I totally agree. However, I think it may be a bit more complex; what happens if a religious group throws a community event? Whether you agree with the religion or not, I think it still fits the criteria. I mean obviously there would need to be a vetting process - so that "religious crusade" doesn't just get retitled "community event" - but I think it's a tad more nuanced.

  • If these crazy parents don't like it then tough. It's a big word and right now, we're coming at this in a way similar to the "don't ask, don't tell" policy; coddling and false, unachievable protection instead of just saying "suck it up and accept diversity"

  • They should understand the unbiased facts of religion; what Christians believe, what Muslims believe, and most importantly that there ARE other beliefs in general that have been around thousands of years. The only REAL problem is that when we think "religion in school" we think of teaching creationism as opposed to evolution when instead, I'm talking about teaching it as literature and history. How can you really understand the crusade without understanding what caused them.

  • I disagree. I think we should go to the opposite moderation. We don't agree not to teach history because it might contradict what a tea-partier believes. Religion is a HUGE part of our society and children need to know about it and ALL about it. The whole idea of public school is to allow children to break the cycle of ignorance that occurs when they only learn what their parents want them to.

  • @53dumey

Do you believe that the 10 commandments are still valid?

  • sound is out of sync. good thing i can read his lips. this is legit.

  • I can read his lips this is fake..

  • Christians: they like to dish it out but they can't take it, like a baker that hates cake but always bakes it xD haha (yes I stole that quote...) Paganism pwns Christianity yet again... why is it that every time the two take each other on in a fair contest of ideas, Paganism wins?

  • Hey baldy, ranting about someone invoking God in a speech shows your willingness to attack religion anywhere you wish.

    Guess what, Congress says prayers.

Leave the little fish alone and go after the Big fish, so we can see you land on your big Fat ass. :>)

  • @53dumey You do realize what the separation of church and state means right? They have no right to enforce their religious beliefs on anyone... And is it not wrong that they won't allow pagans to do the same thing they want to do? Christians worship a god that openly condones rape, and the bible also states that if a man rapes a woman, his punishment should be to pay her father 50 silver coins and MARRY her... So the rape victim has to marry her rapist. Does that seem fair to you?

  • @toThe9thPower

Maybe he should bitch about Congress then.

And once again you have misread the Bible !

  • @53dumey AND I QUOTE

    Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

So how did I misread the bible? it blatantly says the rape victim must marry her attacker, also, if she was married, both of them would be stoned to death, EVEN THE VICTIM.. Why? because she didn't scream for help

  • @toThe9thPower

When the Old Testament was written ( I'm Christian so I go by the NT) thousands of years ago, it was considered rape if a man had sex with a woman that he was'nt engaged or married to.

If she was married and did'nt scream for help then they both commited adultrey which was punishable by death.

These were the actual Laws of the time.

  • @53dumey Yes but when God himself openly condones the rape of your enemies virgins, and when there is not enough virgins to go around, he instructs his people to go to a neighboring city and steal more virgins to forcefully rape and take as their wives, This is obviously wrong, and GOD HIMSELF says that HE NEVER CHANGES, his views at the dawn of time, and his views now are the same, so clearly you believe in a God that approves of raping virgins, Can to try and rationalize this? you can't

  • @toThe9thPower

Thats why Christians don't adhere to the Old Testament.

Jesus changed a lot of this.

I'm not here to educate you on the Bible, its no wonder your atheist your knowledge of the Bible reminds me of a three year old explaining Quantum Physics !

  • @53dumey No, you are wrong, Christians DO follow the Old Testament, as well as the new, and since God himself is saying that rape is okay, and God also said he NEVER changes, that would mean that God still believes raping your enemies virgins is okay, and if you don't have enough to go around... you can go to a neighboring city and steal more... God says it okay.. You cannot rationalize this, your religion is immoral, and your "God" is a monster... have fun believing in a murderous religion :)

  • @toThe9thPower

God also says not to Kill, but you have no problem with Abortion.

The Bible also warns us against homosexuality but thats fine with you also.

So, have fun with your Muderess secularism and your filthy cesspool.

  • @53dumey Actually, I am against abortion, but not because of any God, and if God says not to kill.. why would Jesus tell his believers to kill all non Christians? and why would American soldiers be taught by their chaplains that they are doing "Gods work" by killing the enemies of our country

Just remember, your GOD condones the rape of virgins, torture, slavery, murder, and infanticide...

If God told you to murder your newborn child, would you? Or rape a virgin? would you?

  • @toThe9thPower

This is why I'm a Christian and your just ignorant.

Jesus never said to kill non-christians or to Rape, Torture or to enslave anyone.

Christians go by the New Testament, Not the O.T. ! Jesus was not mentioned in the O.T. !

  • @53dumey Christians do believe in the OLD and NEW testament. So you are a retard. Jesus himself also says all Christians must believe in the Old Testament.. I have sent you a message with all the proof you will need.. Take a look at the sites I have given you, and you will see just how immoral Christianity is... God himself approving of the raping of virgins, and when they ran out of women, he told his people to go kidnap more from a nearby city.

Face it, THAT IS WRONG AND YOU KNOW IT

  • @53dumey The bible study I used to attend used a bible with BOTH the old and new testament. What kind of crazy church do you attend that only has half a bible or less?

  • @tjhombs

You did'nt attend a Christian church did you ?

  • @53dumey I did. You don't believe in the 10 commandments do you?

  • @53dumey I don't have enough fingers to count the number of years I spent studying religion in Christian schools, including college. I am pretty sure that the biblical texts I was lugging around in my backpack included the old testament.

It would seem that you are from yet another splinter group that has a distorted view of the "correct" version of their religion.

  • @53dumey Please explain why websites like Christianbook. com sells things like bibles that include the old testament, commentaries on the old testament, books on old testament prophecy, old testament audio recordings, bookmarks and plaques with quotations from the old testaments, including the 10 commandments, etc.

If the old testament is not a Christian artifact, then who buys this stuff? It's not the Jews - they have the Torah.

  • @tjhombs

    Most likely for research.

Christians do not follow Leviticus and Deuteromony etc..... if we did we would kill you for being a non-believer.

BTW, did you know that parts of the New Testament, Torah and the Koran were taken from the Old Testament ?

  • Comment removed

  • @53dumey Being inconsistent in the usage of the old texts is not the same as not using them at all. And why would you kill me again?

And you have it backwards - the old testament was taken from the other books. The original Christians were Jews to begin with.

  • @tjhombs

" And you have it backwards - the old testament was taken from the other books. The original Christians were Jews to begin with. "

The OT was taken from What other books ?

Christianity was born from the teachings of Christ (Jesus ) .

  • @53dumey The OT started with the Torah, and added from there. Included are other Hebrew scriptures - all written by Jews. Christians are not united in what they see as the Old Testament. Different sects include different ancient writings. That alone should cause concern to all of them. If they are going to claim a religion, they should at least decide what dogma they are going to follow.

  • @tjhombs

Christianity accepts the Torah ( in some variations ), but that does not mean that we follow all scriptures of the OT.

We may read or study Deuteromony or Leviticus but we don't follow it.

But let me ask you a question. As an Atheist would you Stop the organization known as NAMBLA ?

  • @53dumey So you pick and choose which parts you believe, even though your Jesus said that all the old rules still applied. Nice. Why not do like Jefferson and cut out all the anthropomorphic and superstitious nonsense, then?

FYI, I would stop NAMBLA. I do not see how it is relevant. There are many other groups I also stand against, and most of them are overtly religious -- including Catholicism, which many people treat like "secret NAMBLA" without the open honesty of declaring itself as such.

  • @TKStoddart

Maybe, just like you pick and choose which parts of Science to believe.

I don't go word for word of the Bible, I just pay attention in Church.

Do You go word by word on the teachings of Darwin ?

BTW, since the Catholic Church does Not allow for gay Preists, does'nt it make since to you that gays lied their way into the preisthood for the protection and fresh young boys ?

    It does to me !

  • @53dumey Word by word of the teachings of Darwin?

    Darwin wasn't a prophet genius

  • @dffykvn

So, you DON'T believe anything that Darwin wrote about to be True ?
