Being half japanese Im not loving the Mr Roboto in the begining or the polka music in the end. But the hike looked amazing. I tried so hard to go only made it to level 6 when i got the worst headache and started to feel queezy
Hey. I climbed Mt. Fuji too a couple of days ago. Damn it was tough. There were line up's. So instead of taking five hours to climb it took us ten. The way down was nice though. Only took three hours. Anyways it was pretty sweet at the top except it was super cold. It was great experience but I will never do it again! :D
Yeah we went at night. We left at seven at night and got up around four in the morning. Just in time to see the sun rise. It was awesome. It was soo cold though. I saw a few forigners make it to the top in just a t-shirt and shorts. Thats crazy. We started at five just like you. So I was like "oh this is so easy" on six and seven. But once we reached eight I was thinking holy shit. It was still awesome though. Not many people I know get to climb Mt. Fuji.
I saw a bunch of those dumb asses climbing in shorts and t-shirts too. I grew up in the rocky mountains, so I knew better. I had a ton of layers packed and was fine until i sat around for 1.5 hours waiting for sunrise. I needed some wool! I'm glad you manned up and did it!
Wow a mission & a half...yeah the view looks awesome, shame camera's never really capture the full beauty of a place, but it still looks great. thanks for sharing : )
Sorry RisuMiso I'm not gonna watch this video! Im actually gonna climb Mt. Fuji in a week or so too so I don't want to spoil it! Im heading to Japan on tuesday. I heard it takes a long time to climb. Like five hours?
Yeah I did it in 5 hours passing lots of groups and I'm no athlete. I had 2 sweaters a t-shirt pants, and water/windproof jacket and pants and was warm enough except when I was at the summit sitting waiting for sunrise. So you may want to bring more layers than I did. Bring lots of water as it is expensive if you buy it on the mountain. I would also recommend doing the hike at night as it's ridiculously hot during the day. Have fun!
(This is Vreugdian by the way. This is just my other channel!) Hey! Im in Japan! Its awesome here. I have to get used to the timezone here. I came from Canada so my sleep schedule is pretty wacked out.
Daamn, that's a sweet climb. I would love to do something like that some day, especially at night. Looks like you're putting that editing software to use, I'm liking it!

@aijin47 ??? I can assure you there is no Mr. Roboto or polka in this video. Even if it had Mr. Roboto, how would that have been offensive to you?

Damn, that is some commitment.
i hear that, that trail can kick some major ass.
but the sun rising was just perfect.
i had no idea that there was a post office on that mountain~!
that's crazy.
thanks for capturing this trip! as well as sharing it.
great video !!

Yeah, I feel the same way about it. Did you do the climb at night or during the day? And it was way tougher than I thought it would be.

I don't know why I've never had the desire to make that climb. It did look pretty.

If it makes you feel better, I never have any desire to do it again.
