yiannis said Ireland definately should not have won. But i think Linda Martin has a great voice and the song was the best irish song ever (together with 'Rock 'n roll kids).

I loved this when I was kid and Eurovision was massive. We used to record in on VHS then reply the songs we loved. I know Ireland my country won this year but I would have been happy for Iceland to win also!

My favourite Icelandic entry. The clothes are horrible and the singer in yellow seems out of breath from about halfway until the end, but I just love this song.

The conductor of the Icelandic entry was from Bristol. Probably why it got top marks from the UK it isn't a bad entry though.
