David Gray possibly puts on the classiest show that I have ever seen. When he came here to Indianapolis in May 2011, everybody sat down during each song and gave him a standing ovation between songs. His live performances are truly a treat that I hope I get to see once a year every year.
It's interesting how many different versions of this song are floating around; I kind of like the one with the third verse, which has a more upbeat feel to it. But on the other hand, I prefer this one's instrumentation & overall arrangement. It doesn't matter, though--a great song remains a great song no matter what, and this is without a doubt DG's best song.
