    golden Era!

  • one of tha greatest rhythm scratches ever !

  • zoom zoom zoom!! i wanted dreads like that

  • so dopppppeeee!!!!!!

  • Had this Remix recorded in 1992 on K7 from KISS FM in NYC... Pete Rock is 2nd to none... took OK track and turned it into what it SHOULD HAVE BEEN... I wish there was an instrumental of this.... sick beat + jazz combo ... this REMIX (NOT the original version) is easy one of the best rap tracks of the golden era of Rap. OUTSTANDING!!!

  • yes this is !

  • rap

  • das efx godlike

  • no bently no chains no hoes in the video just skill just skill.

  • pete invented the good remix

  • Pete is on another level...

  • i´ve*

  • Pete Rock is a genius.

  • hip hop all day!! .. pete rock a beast

  • Like Chico I'm the man yes indeed I got the smarts so

when I take a stand just take a seat like Rosa Parks

    Some to-may-to to-mah-to, baloney bologna

I used to Fraggle Rock ya but now I Fraggle Stone ya

    This is my joint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Arguably one of the greatest remixes of all time!

    PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pete Rock and Das EFX go together like peanut butter and jelly!

  • Man...hearing this again for the first time in a LONG time, is like a breathe of fresh air!!

The wicked scratching, the cool samples, the old school style of rhyming'....Pete rock remixes should be mandatory study material for all future producers and MC's!!

    5 stars

  • a timeless classic... feel the beat vibrate through your bloodveins

  • Oh wow, never heard this remix!

  • pete rock was so on point with this remix......crazy hot beat....the man can hardly put a foot wrong, even to this day

and das efx had crazy flow on this cut....if you have this dont let go of it

  • nice

  • ill

  • I still got the cassette single for this that I bought back in '92. One of PR's best remixes ever. This beat just melts in your mouth.

  • I wiggedy wax that scalp like Alberto vo5.

  • Classic combination

  • Only School Hip Hop Is The Real Hip Hop. Big Up To Pete Rock & Das Efx On This "Jussumen" (Remix) Right Here. Showing The Proper Of Making Rap Records.

  • ahhhhhh 92, 93 its that boom bap ba boom boom bap beta ... i needed a jamm to smoke this tree to and this it

  • AAAAAH DA FLOW IS TOOOOO GULLY

  • I have this remix and it still sounds dope man. I love this song. Das Efx were great back then. Just wonderful. These artists of today can't rap to anything like this because they can't come close to this real shit. Hip hop needs an overhaul. We need to kick all these crappy artists (especially Souljah Boy) to the curb and start over fresh with hip hop. These young cats today need to listen to what real hip hop is. They need to listen to some old school stuff and learn from it.

  • you are totally right im 17 and i know that

  • pete rock is absolutely great. my nigga.

  • this is pretty slick, but i still like the original

  • One of the illest beats of all time. Period.

  • the true sound of hip hop. todays crap will never come close to this dope beat. LONG LIVE OLD SCKOOL HIP HOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is diggidy diggidy DOPE!

  • I'm with you all. Pete Rock and Primo were it in those days. I also hated the way everybody wrote Das EFX off as a gimmick with the 'iggedy' BS. Those cats had some seriously sick, clever lyrics!

  • Pete Rock's remixes around this time - 92-94 - were f-ing insane! -some of the most fantastic musical productions the world has ever known. How did he put these beats together? Music that's classified as "rap" or "hip-hop" today has nothing to do with this. It's an insult to dudes like pete rock to even catagorize it in the same genre.

  • word!

  • adamwillgo, couldnt have said it better myself.

  • besides jussumen which othas are u talkin bout?

  • yea you right lol especially compared to the bullshit today......

  • Yo man this dude pete rock was one of the illest producers to ever lay it down. If i was a rapper today i would have this dude lay tracks for me well pete rock the rza and primo.....period!!

  • lol are u worthy, just hearin their beats is a blessin' let alone bein' sampled by them

  • Remix blew my mind when I first heard it, such a subtle hook made out of that keyboard/xylophone/whatever it is melody in the background.

    Classic!

  • me too. its hard to explain. a perfect beat kinda takes u on a mind travel.

  • its the little xylophone thing and the little ringing of the snare.

  • absolutely. thats totally it. there's something so sublime about that little sample that takes this to the next level.

  • This is no Hip Hop today. There are just fake dudes acting like gang members or real dudes that are gang members that equally portray a negative image for ALL Black people. There has always been a street element in the game. It just never ran he gambit through all Hip Hop. You have people who use to stand up & say something positive once in a white. Today -- please... We were once schooled by pioneers of the rap game. Remember "Self Distruction"? Well, its are living life now. Sad...

  • I go from 10 to 2 just like evon mobley......Love that line!

  • fat dreadz

  • One of the greatest beats of all time!!!!!

    pzzzz

  • agreed

  • pete rock did hiss thing on this track.

makes me wanna get all up & amped.

    real hip hop.

  • круто

  • I was hooked on this remix...still am lol! Yiggity yes!

  • My fault, I missed a word. This is one of my favorite beats of all time.

Today's hip hop doesn't even compare to the quality of hip hop in the 90s era.

  • This is one of favorite beats of all time.

  • does anyone know what sample PR used in this one?

  • "just the men that's on the mic" is "MC slick rick", "loddy doddy" sample from about "1985" when i was in 7th grade. youtube search "slick rick & outkast video" rick is filthy in that.

  • This is how hip hop should sound. I feel sorry for kids today. They are surrounded by crap.

  • I agree with you on that one!!!

  • very true

  • this is the realest it gets !!!

  • any one no where I could find a CD with all or at least most pete rock remix's ?

and yes .... I do no about ebay..which does not help.

  • you hear the horns from Pete got damn I miss this... where the fuck did the music go wrong??? long live hip hop

  • Still love my old school east coast hip hop. All the best came from the East.

  • pshhh ..!? haha no all hip hop came from the east X]

  • GOLDEN years!!this hip hop music

  • did you see the video music box 25 year tribute to hip hop? It showed me how authentic this generation of hip hop is. many have lost the purpose and point of expression in hip hop...flow style versitility battle skill...etc. dont get me wrong ...you got iggas out there that hold it down ..jada to mf doom..deepends where u at.

  • man cant people realize real hiphop vs hip pop....

  • to the person who posted another one of pete rock's classic remixes...ur on my christmas list.

  • This remix was better than the original

  • this beat must have been from the future

    crazy

  • With all of the beats that have come out as of the recent years? Fuck no. No one these days comes up with good shit like this.

  • GODDAMN this beat is just to dope!!

  • better than original song to me

  • If anybody would have the gall to rhyme over this track today, they better have some serious heat wit 'em on this. This is a crowd mover like Gimme The Loot if someone were to rhyme over this beat on stage and got skills on the mic when they doing it.

  • causin rucckus like menudo!!!

  • you cant beat the start of this tune!!!

  • dude the starting of TRUMASTER,murders this one...OMG what a intro...TRUMASTER on the SOUL SURVIVOR

  • IT'S ANOTHER PETE ROCK REMIX!

  • Whaaaaat another amazing sick remix from pete rock? This shit is just hot.

  • this is more pure then Columbian coke

this is the real hiphop :D

  • WERE CAN I DOWNLOAD?

  • "another pete rock remix" lol

    cant get better

  • CLASSIC!!!!

  • Love this stuff man!!

  • Pure unadulterated lyrication.

MC skills in it's purest form.

    This is freestyle rhyming.

No topic. no message. Just lyricks.

oh,... and the remixed rhthem aint too bad either ;)

  • You hit the Nail on the head Just Ryhmes. This is when Pete Rock was on fire. This is a real remix. Today people put an R&B Nigga or some wack rapper on there song over the same beat and call it a remix.

  • Its a shame but you are so fuckin right, long live hip hop

  • i know the definition of underground hiphop, if your younger sister or mother knows every word to a rap single, it is not underground hip hop

  • What if your mothers Rah Digga?

  • Crazy smarts ahhaaaa

  • yiggety-yes!

  • "One for the money, two for the show

    Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats, hooooo!"

  • Arthritis might have caught up with him. (LOL)

  • all right ppppppppp

  • mmmmm. nice

  • This is surely a blast from the past.

  • I had this record years ago when I was a teenager and I've thought about this song for song long. This song was the shit back then. I loved it then and I love it now hearing it again for the first time. I really missed this song. Now that I've recorded it, I can listen to it anytime I want now. Thank you YouTube.

  • this has to be the tightest beat. like ever lol. I remember hearing this song like last month for the 1st time like ok. hearing it again just made my day.

  • Christmas spirit lol

  • every track that pete rock gets, turns into gold....

  • i know right.

  • ca pue le hip hop c du vrai comme j'aime respect!!

  • It's good to find again.Back in '92 I bought the Mic Checka extended single on the cassette and this was on the flip side. I played it to death. I still have it too, but my damn tape player broke.

  • huge props!!!

  • dis shyte is f**kin crazy

    unlike dis new shyte

soulja boy and all da wannabees out now

dats not real hip hop or music

  • You have no idea how hard I agree with what you just said!!!

  • for true.....we need to invent a time machine and go back to the late 80s early 90s
