Sweet. I got 10 flights in fire birds during the Day Fire 06. It was out of this world to have a job at 19 where I got to fly around, while my friends were working in a checkout line.
Impressive, aren't they? I have seen fire/rescure bird come and go at Los Pinetos Fire Camp 9, too. You can get pretty close to the pad and the rotor wash is almost impossible to stand up against. Cool stuff. :D
