  • are using a USB modem?

  • @boost43534 I was using the "Home" modem, which connects to my computer or router with Ethernet

  • Wow i should show my Geography teacher that Plate tectonics has moved Georgia to present day Washington

  • @ExpectAmazing It depends on your ip address.

  • Its still basically sprint.

    Sprint=Wimax=Crap

I work for sprint 4g support its a crap system.

  • @acqarturochavez

awesome. I work for MetroPCS. LTE is gonna be the shit

  • @o5iiawah Too bad MetroPCS SUCKS LOL even T MOBILE is better than that crap lol. Metro sucks. Metro is a ghetto connection lol. Virgin mobile and boost mobile are better than Metro and they both suck what a shame.

  • @DavidDelacruz99

Virgin and Boost are MVNOs using the garbage sprint network. Sprint's losing so many customers all they can do is whore out their network to small providers.

metro has by far the lowest block/drop rate of any carrier in the country. If you cant love your own, hate another

  • do you recomend this?

  • its good on gaming i have it

  • so its not good to play ps3 online???? ?????

  • @laydizzle its gonna be awhile...

  • What I must know to really get me into purchasing this is: Is it good for gaming! I mean like xbox 360, AND ps3

  • @LennyBP ---I don't know if this will be fast enough for gaming...I am not a gamer, so can't give you any first hand experience.....However, I know they have like a 14 day money back guarantee...so I would suggest give it a try...if its not fast enough you can always bring it back and cancel the service

  • @LennyBP No it's not good for gaming because the latency(ping) is too high. I mean it will probably work, but you will experience bad lag. even with high bandwidth.

  • @TheDemoREC I got clearwire... i can see the tower ouside my window. my ping stays below 65ms for most of the day.(5pm or so its like 80ms). I play on my 360 and i get sometimes 4 bars on mw2(4=best connection). i am paying for 768kb dl speed......yea i know... not much lag little or none. if you live within 3 miles of one of their towers its great for gaming. if not it SUCKS.

  • @TheDemoREC

i have alltel (now verizon) wireless and i game on it, it has some ping issues that really only effect stuff like if you and somebody shotty each other at the same time you will lose that battle, but you can still play pretty lag free on wireless

  • @LennyBP

clear is actually not good for gaming i play x box 360 with clear and i always end up lagging or having 3 bars on mw2

  • the video says Atlanta, but the last time i checked, Atlanta wasn't located on the West Coast.

  • When you use the "Speed Test " service, it automatically suggests which router/server to test against...when I ran my test, it was testing against a server on the west coast at the time

  • updates....CLEAR just plain sucks...i can't get it in my house because of a hill blocking the signal. I can't mobile because buildings I'm in are school which is mostly solid walls....i even tested around town with signals and I was getting an average below 1mb.....CLEAR just plain sucks and never what they adverised...thats why there's a fine print in their commercials.

  • wimax should be live here in seattle in the next few weeks im waiting on my modem to come :)

  • why does the map say your in washington?

  • I'm in vegas and clear was offering me $45.month on a 2 year contract...My Embarq offer me $50/month (5MB download speed) bundle with a 1 phone lan line. Not a good deal from CLEAR

  • i'm waiting for clear to establish itself a little bit. still a little iffy on making the switch...

  • Did you have 5 bars on your modem? If so, how did you do that? Ive been trying for a week to get full bars on my modem but all I can get is 2. Granted, I still have some speed to it but 2 is still pretty discouraging.

  • I never get 5 bars on my modem.....It usually has 3 bars....every so often I might get 4 bars.....or sometimes just 2 bars....but for the most part its usually at 3 bars.

  • the ping sucked..for gaming. i thought it was gonna be better

  • Whoa, ClearWire? That fast? It sucked as a wireless home internet service. I'm using Embarq DSL now, it's pretty fast! Fast as that one, but the upload is faster.
