Simply, bcs smaller fighter jet against solid conqrete cube versus 300,000 pound jet plane against 15-20 inch thick wall with windows, is not same. If the plane and fire really weakened the structure that the collapsing is inevitable, why there wasnt any signs of upcoming collapse? @qortin the wtc didnt collapse from the bottom, im not going to go into details about how it was designed but tp keep it simple, one of the floors the plant hit collapsed, and because the floor under it had to support twice as much it collapsed, then the third three times as much, then four, then five etc etc. When youre hitting a floor with over 5 times as much as it was designed to handle at high speed, its going to collapse pretty instantaniously.
@GoldenEagle1014 yes, pancake collapses do happen, but they don't happen that fast, and that perfectly, the twin towers collapsed at free-fall speed, which is not possible in a pancake collapse, which they say happened. Steel melts at 1500 degrees - the fire was 2700 degrees. That's more then enough time for the steel to melt before the jet fuel runs out.

@qortin The steel didn't have to melt to fail. Steel looses 50% of it's structural strength at 1200 f. Also with uneven fires there are varying stresses placed on steel beams causing it to expand, distort or twist. The thin floor beams were believed to have been deformed causing the wall joining bolts to snap. Once enough of these failed the vertical columns also weakened by fire lost much of their strength

Steel melts at 1300-1400 degrees (which is around 2500F). So check your facts on that. You also failed to note that Steel goes soft at around 500 degrees; therefore making it even weaker and more vulnerable to the fires.
@qortin The falling top 15 floors weight was around 45000 tones. The floors they fell on was rated to be able to support 1300 tones above their own weight. This massive falling kinetic weight was way too much for them to resist.
@qortin Many fire departments treat any steel only construction as a potential collapse. Fireproofing only buys time, time to evacuate people and just maybe time to fight the fire. The burning floors didn't vanish they collapsed thus weakening the vertical columns. This can be seen on the videos where you can clearly see the outer columns bow out before they snap. Ask yourself, if you could lift 1300 tones what would happen if l dropted 45000 tones on you?
@Spindry96 there is my problem mate. The 45000 tones existed for decades before the impact. If there was a failure of the beams on that floor (cannot be simultaneous since not all beams were damaged by the impact or effected by fire) the only increase in mass would be the velocity of those few mtrs on one of the sides of the tower and therefore the top of the tower would fal on on side of the tower and not pass through the lower floors meantime reduced to dust. (thus losing its mass)
@qortin The initial plane crash severed beams and floor trusses increasing the load on the remaining structure. Floor trusses in the fire twisted, snapted bolts holding them to the vertical columns. With the loss of an increasing number of floor trusses the outer columns buckled outwards until they failed. The tower did tip over sideways until there was a catastropic collapse.This can clearly be seen in videos. Remember it was a falling dynamic weight also not static

@aczjbr I worked in blasting and demolition for years and buildings dont fall like that unless their blasted. The heat and impact may have ruined the structural integrity to a point of severity but the towers would NOT fall straight down at free fall speeds unless blasted. Simply, bcs smaller fighter jet against solid conqrete cube versus 300,000 pound jet plane against 15-20 inch thick wall with windows, is not same. When u think that collision dont forget that the steel bars and floors sliced, ripped and crushed the plane fully. It just cant be seen from outside of the building.

I watched again several vids of collapsings and then one thing just came to mind. If the plane and fire really weakened the structure that the collapsing is inevitable, why there wasnt any signs of upcoming collapse? I mean instead of suddenly started collapsing, every corners at the same time, the top of the building should've moved downward like few inches, then few feets or even tiny partial collapsings. (continue) What's most amazing all the three buildings acted same. If even one building would've acted like the building what is too weak to hold itself upright, there would be less to wonder. The structure of a weak building starts to give up randomly, not all together. Weakest part collapses, and that can take some structure along it. Then next weak part would give up and then next. And mostlikely some part of the structure would stay as they were, like WTC 5 and 6.

@qortin The video showed the ASSUMED damages. We dont kno how badly the plane damaged the structure. So every single animations will be failed to explain either or way what really happened. We can only base our opinions on what we saw. Some ppl see normal collapsing, some ppl see controlled demolition. @qortin the wtc didnt collapse from the bottom, im not going to go into details about how it was designed but tp keep it simple, one of the floors the plant hit collapsed, and because the floor under it had to support twice as much it collapsed, then the third three times as much, then four, then five etc etc. When youre hitting a floor with over 5 times as much as it was designed to handle at high speed, its going to collapse pretty instantaniously.

Also, buildings NEVER ever collapse from such insignificant damage, use google if you don't believe me, 9/11 wasn't the first time a building got fucked up by fire and/or a plane, and finally, demolitions experts have said that the twin towers were perfect demolitions.

At these temperatures, the steel inside the building would have gotten soft, making material unable to support the columns, ultimately collapsing the building.

As it had BECOME a normal building fire after it had burned through all the gasoline which was nearly instant.

Steel melts at 1500 degrees - the fire was 2700 degrees. That's more then enough time for the steel to melt before the jet fuel runs out.

@qortin The steel didn't have to melt to fail. Steel looses 50% of it's structural strength at 1200 f. Also with uneven fires there are varying stresses placed on steel beams causing it to expand, distort or twist. The thin floor beams were believed to have been deformed causing the wall joining bolts to snap. Once enough of these failed the vertical columns also weakened by fire lost much of their strength

Steel melts at 1300-1400 degrees (which is around 2500F). So check your facts on that. You also failed to note that Steel goes soft at around 500 degrees; therefore making it even weaker and more vulnerable to the fires.

@qortin Many fire departments treat any steel only construction as a potential collapse. Fireproofing only buys time, time to evacuate people and just maybe time to fight the fire. The burning floors didn't vanish they collapsed thus weakening the vertical columns. This can be seen on the videos where you can clearly see the outer columns bow out before they snap. Ask yourself, if you could lift 1300 tones what would happen if l dropted 45000 tones on you?

@Spindry96 there is my problem mate. The 45000 tones existed for decades before the impact. If there was a failure of the beams on that floor (cannot be simultaneous since not all beams were damaged by the impact or effected by fire) the only increase in mass would be the velocity of those few mtrs on one of the sides of the tower and therefore the top of the tower would fal on on side of the tower and not pass through the lower floors meantime reduced to dust. (thus losing its mass)

@qortin The initial plane crash severed beams and floor trusses increasing the load on the remaining structure. Floor trusses in the fire twisted, snapted bolts holding them to the vertical columns. With the loss of an increasing number of floor trusses the outer columns buckled outwards until they failed. The tower did tip over sideways until there was a catastropic collapse.This can clearly be seen in videos. Remember it was a falling dynamic weight also not static

@zenoist2 The terrorists weren't completely inexperienced pilots. They had taken flight school lessons in the United States that same year. There's actual records of the hijackers going to those flight schools, however you'll have to dig them out of the internet's filing cabinets first.
Also, I'm pretty sure it's hard to bail out of a moving jet airplane while it's still under control, which would make it go off target. It'd take you about a minute to strap on parachutes and open the door.

When it comes down to it, no building would fall like that from damage. Maybe the top half above the impact zone would crumble and fall slowly, maybe even taking chunks of the building as it fell. But free fall? Give me a fucking break. Two towers, two examples of controlled demo! Thermite! With added carbon for an extra bang, just to make sure it did the job. Textbook demo!

@aczjbr Well, just think about it as if you were Nat Geo or the Guardian or a university, would you swim against the tide? Would you show results from analysis which showed 9/11 was a huge corporate conspiracy? No, I wouldn't even do that, you'd be putting your credibility as a mainstream institution on the line. Why? @aczjbr There is no evidence, I'm sorry. The US took all the WTC debris and shipped them far far away and ran 0 tests on the columns. No tests were conducted on any physical parts of the WTC towers. They cleaned the crime scene and now they're building a new tower over ground zero. NIST was in charge of making a final report, the whole thing was simply crap, they just told people what they saw. Fat bankers lobbied to deregulate lending on home mortgages, they payed S&P and Moodys to give crap loans good ratings, then when the loans were made they sold them to other investors, the people couldn't pay the bank back, huge crash!

BULLSHIT!!! That plane would NOT take down that tower. Those are high strength H beams and reinforced concrete......... 9-11 was a DEMOLITION job.

@aczjbr I worked in blasting and demolition for years and buildings dont fall like that unless their blasted. The heat and impact may have ruined the structural integrity to a point of severity but the towers would NOT fall straight down at free fall speeds unless blasted. But hey what do I know against a bunch of kids. Theres no conspiracy.... Yeah fuckin right. Your brain is stillborn

OHHH!!!! Always a touchy, AND intersting conversation. I dont know what to make of it. I have messed around with simulators, nothing TRULY accurate. But, the buildings do, and dont fall in the way they did in real life. My dad is also an engineer, and deals with robotivs and stress testing loads. Small stuff, not buldings. He doesnt really have an opinion, tired of hearing about it, but does say it seems unlikely they would collapse in such a perfect manner.
