Yesterday the SES admitted that the response was to slow. Maybe now the State government will fund the SES appropriately so that the volunteers of this wonderful organisation can respond appropriately and maybe the insurance companies will also come to the party just like they fund the fire services, both paid and voluntary.
NEXT TIME YOU SEE AN SES VOLUNTEER HOW ABOUT JUST SAYING THANK YOU!
it was the best we could do! we were nowhere near home, couldnt find an empty carport/garage from the street so parked on the footpath under some trees and hoped for the best :)
i agree - dammed if you do, dammed if you dont. did avoid the gum tree though and hoped for the best. cheers

if it wasnt for the SES, this country would be ****ed! whether its fire or rain or any other disaster the SES are always there

plus driving in hail??? you gotta think quick.. cuz if u drive in hail.. it makes the inpact of the hail way harder.
