Some good info to increase realism: you should approach SJU at 200kts below 3000, flaps clean. Crossover Levittown rivermouth at 1600 AGL 200kts Flaps 1 heading 140. For Rwy 08/10 Lagoon visual, intercept ILS 10. When TJIG is at your 9, flaps 5 down to 180 kts. @ 5 miles out, slow to 160, flaps 10, gear down. As you approach, lower your speed to landing speed, gradually extend flaps. You should have Flaps 30/40 at or above 800 ft.
@falconwings Don't mind GameNewbie. I live in PR and I've done this approach many times. That lagoon has a long bridge although it doesn't show up in FSX. Have you flown that approach in real life? You seem to know what you're talking about.
I switched to Xplane 9 after I heard Microsoft fired the Aces team and discontinued MSFS(sad day)
the interface takes getting used to, but flying on vatsim makes it all better :) also it was very sluggish on windows 7 (x64) and x plane 9 works without flaws. btw what are your computer specs? I plan on building another computer and it would help me decide on the components that work well in flight sims
plans include a quad core, 4+ gigs ram, 500gig HD and graphics card is up for decision...
