a Suggestion is to put a piece of sheet medal at the end of the ramp to make it smooth going up it and down... like they do at skateparks

drill a hole through the coping, then get a drill bit bigger than the head of the screw and drill halfway through the coping where youve already drilled. Scure with a screw so that the head is countersunk inside the coping.

Or

If you have a welder, weld some bolts or threaded rod to the bottom of the coping , drill the holes matching under the timber , Fit it on with some light hitting with a rubber mallet and secure with nylon lock nuts.

we drilled a hole in the top bigger than a screws head then a smaller hole through that bligger hole that the head of the screw could not fit and screwed it on

So we cut it in half and used it as a bike ramp until I broke my shoulder.
