Very good! Made me cry!  Poor, poor Ianto!  And Jack too. Why oh why did the cruel writters have to kill him off? Then they'll want us to get close to more new characters? I don't think that will happen! They'll just kill them again, just like Ianto! And after all that, I wouldn't think Jack would ever love again. It would be way too painful.

I take the opposite view of the argument. Until Jack says he does or that Ianto means more to him than just another affair, we have to assume that is all it is. Remember, Jack is a man who has had many past lovers because he cannot die.
