I've watched this montage 100s of times. Someone needs to create a Gymnastics Montage Hall of Fame...and this montage should be the first inductee. Everyone who makes gymnastics montages really should take lessons from this.
She used to performed excellent gymnastics, even when she was not the best during her time, she is better than a lot of gymnasts today. I cant believe that someone like Bridget sloan became a world champion, honestly the world is not producing many talented gymnasts today since the economy is bad. I think people in Russia prefer to eat than sending their kids to the gym, that is why they are not tne best anymore. Great video and nice music, good job!
On pretty much anybody else flexed feet would annoy me, but on Elena I think they actually suit her aggressive style. I love it - all of it. I miss you, Elena!

Lexness manages to capture her intensity and raw power. I hope he/she is doing professional cinematography somewhere.

Is it just only me? Is this beyond stunning? "Perfection" would be an insult. "Phenomenal" would be completely insufficient. The combination of Grace, Strength & Beauty is simply breath-taking. My goal in life is to photograph this woman. She's otherworldly.
I agree! Yelena Produnova is my absolute favorite gymnast! She proves that women can be just as powerful as the men! She is stunning in all facets of Gymnastics! Unfortunately her power was too much for her and she was always getting hurt, but when she was on, she was on! Her difficulty level is still something gymnasts of today can't compare to. The only problem w/ the Russian team (IMO) is their lack of consistancy! But love them anyways!
