I feel like you meant to say Universally Prefered Behavior at 29:40 instead of prefered behavior. It clouded the meaning slightly even though I knew what you meant. You taught us the distinction earlier in the video.
Thanks stef! for realizing the importance of a plain old white board. Now one last thing... please please please start and end with the the outline of your talk. This is heavy , concentration demanding stuff .... summarizing frequently will decrease the unnecessary burden for keeping it in memory and free up grey matter resources to sink the reasoning in :)
"Why don't we penalize rape or murder with the same punishments as we do for trespassing then? Because you base them both on a trespassing into someone else's body don't you?"
Proportionality? That is not a valid criticism. The distinction is one of degree.

Since this is an introductory series, I would like to bring up a point that needs to be brought up. That is, an argument must be valid and sound to be true. Just because an argument can't be refuted doesn't mean the argument is sound.
All men are frogs.
Jack is a man.
Therefore Jack is a frog
This argument is valid yet not sound.
Basic stuff I know, but I feel that it hasn't been made clear.
