@annieluuser I don't understand why you don't like her haircut. I thought it looked modern, not bad. I actually love the hairstyle, and if I didn't have curly hair, I'd want it cut into her hairstyle. Good or bad though, it's only opinion, but I think that's a darn good haircut, especially for with a mirror shard. :-)

I can't speak for everyone, but I disliked it because I was so used to her with the mile-long tresses. This, to me, is how I always remembered Rapunzel, even before the movie began, and she really took this gimmicky look and made it her own, repeatedly playing around with it, getting caught in it, using it to tie people up, and it even gave her magic powers. How cool is that?

It's the very modernism of the ending hair that makes me dislike it. Is this set in modern times?

This whole scene really sort of makes me sad. I wonder if Disney has some ulterior motive behind deliberately changing Rapunzel's appearance to something you'd see in a modern-day, American bridal shower.

Seriously, how paranoid do you have to be to think that Americans can only stand the sight of other Americans? Well, guess what girls? You're no longer allowed to have long hair, or a frilly dress, or be blonde. Disney says so.

@mytruepower2 didn't you watch Tangled? Her hair gets cut off to gain her freedom. Once it's cut, it will never grow again and loses it's magic power. Anyway, to me it's a relief to see a girl who doesn't have long blonde hair, since mine is short and fine and mousy. All the other disney princesses have long flowing locks. Guess what girls? You're no longer commanded to have long hair, or a frilly dress, or be blonde. Yay!

@Ladiggle There have been more brunette Disney princesses than blonde. Also, a lot of the stories are adapted fairy tales that originated in areas where blonde was and is a natural occurrence. There's nothing wrong with being blonde. It's nothing like the bimbos of today who bleach their hair, that is and looks completely different.

Then, you see from the outside the kingdom randomly blows up, but then we see that part was just in Maximus's head, what he was thinking would happen because he lost the rings. Then, the rest of the short is him and Pascal on a mad dash through the city to get the rings back in time, creating all kinds of chaos along the way. It's really funny.
