@Avatar7811 ......Is it just me or did you completely misunderstand the satire and brilliance of the whole film? He doesn't need to write them to have a significant impact. It's a completely collaborative process. I fully trust he had a decent amount of say in what to change about the script.

@Avatar7811 The beginning of Scream 4 made fun of the fact that horror movies often have many pointless sequals (Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th). Scream 4 was a satire on remakes and reboots, and it did it well. In my opinion, Scream 4 was way better than Scream 3. But both films are nowhere near as good as the first two. Scream 3 and 4 became what Scream 1 and 2 originally parodied.
